This is embarrassing. To be fair, Skip predicted the Heat to win it and never backed off his pick. It's not like he thought Lebron wasn't capable of winning.
Bull ... we all know the actual reason why he picked the Heat.... so he could say he was right if they won and bash LeClutch for "choking as the favorite" if they lost, tbh.... his hate is so transparent.....

He picked the Heat because he thought Lebron would play soft again in the finals and Wade would need to pick him up.. Been calling Wade Batman for 2 years now.. When Lebron went into Boston for game 6 and played like a GOD amongst mortals Lebron had made up his mind the Heat were not losing because he didn't do enough in 2012.

I like Cuban but he's talking X's and O's and ESPN caters to a more ignorant audience who has no idea how to identify a 3-2 zone. They speak in generalities because specifics would never make print. People want drama, not stats.

Exactly Skip was speechless and more or less clueless when Cuban asked him why Lebron was not himself after steamrolling to the finals last year. The Mavs (and similarly the Spurs in 2007) were the reason he wasn't himself.

I loved how Cuban brought up the preseason game where Mavs only played zone the whole game. We fans don't see any of that and for the general audience, you need people like Cuban to actually educate guys like Skip and Stephen A.

I don't like Cuban's personality, but you can tell he knows what he's talking about.
    And Skip is just pathetic.

I don't see how Skip got owned really

He's right about why Dallas won, because Lebron choked

2011 Finals: Under 5 minutes left, within 5 points Lebron scored 0 points on 0-7 FG

Sure the Dallas defense is part of it, but games 2-5 were extremely close, and if Lebron makes a clutch play here or there Miami are the champs. So I feel like he's right. But Cuban did diss him when he said they don't care about what he says.

Skip is so wrong. You can clearly tell he's butthurt about the decision and how right it was for LeBron to say " this, if you can't put any winners around me, I'll go to them".

Lol thinking any of LeBron's Cleveland teams were anywhere near championship caliber
Lol 2 finals in a row as soon as he leaves the hole
Lol "he should have more rings by now"
    Lol can't accept reality
lol caring at all about Skip Bayless opinion on anything

When you really listen to Skip he rarely says anything with facts even though he claims he does. Lots of gen statements designed to flame and annoy.. He says now "It took Lebron 9 years, that is way too long" so Lebron was supposed to hit the league at 18 and start collecting chips right away with the Cavs of all teams..

He gushes over all things Jordan but Jordan did not win a chip until Phil Jackson got through to him about sharing the ball and Pippen became an all star caliber sidekick.. Anyone who thinks Jordan was not a selfish player at 25 did not see the man play..

I don't think Cuban owned him at all. I think Cuban made some good points, but he also got hit with the biggest haymaker from Smith on the Odom point. Cuban is right that there is a lacking of facts to back things up (you can clearly tell which people do their homework), but a lot of time they show you the stats then talk about the softer science of sports.

Cuban trying to give all credit to his team is obviously a pride thing - they deserve a lot of credit, but he makes it seem like there is no such thing a choking. There clearly is.

For the most part Lebron was not ready to be a champion in 2011, he should have been but he just wasn't.. He deserves a lot of respect for coming back this year and really exercising the demons.. That is what all time greats do and he did it..

I can't buy the of someone being scared after all the games and experience he had. I could buy it in 2007 but then Spurs just were too good for Cleveland and Lebron averaged 22-7-7. Not bad.

Last year James averaged 19 ppg 7 reb -7 assist in the finals. I couldn't name more than 3 or 4 players who could average those numbers. Surely LeBron could play better but the Mavs were playing in the Finals too, their defense was the main factor, add fatigue and the fact that team wasn't clearly LeBron's team so surely he didn't feel he was the man to take the responsability every play and you have all the puzzle. Choke? I would say that's basketball.

One difference this year is that he knew this was clearly LeBron's team so he can't deferred. But of course OKC weren't the Mavs and their defense was a joke.

That's why people like JVG are more interesting to listen to than people like Screamin' A Smith or Bayless; they understand nuances of the moment in the game and point them out, JVG is especially good at this and if you don't listen you can easily miss him pointing out a weakness on moment that gets exploited on the next play.

However, the Heat lost because Dallas kicked their teeth in. Dirk was unstoppablePERIOD.

Sure Lebron the bed in the 4th, but he carried the team most of the game. He shouldn't have to be the engine, the cars and the caboose.

That just refers to Miami's road to the championship.

Spurfans were already ing themselves to the thought of a NBA ring while Miami were struggling midway through it. Look at where we history is at right now.
