    where did I say that?
You didn't, but I read your mind.

Lakers have let TPEs expire in the past. If they can't use it on a player that will help get them over the hump, they'll say it and let it expire. We haven't had a notable 1st rounder since Bynum, yet we've rang twice since then...what were you saying again?

LOL TWO TIME MVP Steve Nash playing with ONE time MVP Kobe Bryant. Kobe's going to have to defer to the two time MVP.

    Solid trade for both teams.

Lakers obviously desperate for an upgrade at the PG position - though this move won't put them over the top.

Suns get 4 picks + cash for a player whose on his way out anyways.

Must be good news for Knicks fans, since they won't be losing Shump.

Also, wouldn't Nash's assist numbers plummet because of Kobe's unmitigated chucking?

    Lol Lakers

No picks in 2013. No salary cap space.

Now they really need Howard. They will end the games with the worst defensive backcourt of the league and the oldest one.

If Sessions resigns he will be a bench player again but Lakers need him.The backup PG will play around 20+ mpg.

Damn, with that 3M the Suns saved 30M by trading Nash (not paying him 27M and getting 3M in cash in order to not do so )

Sources told ESPN.com that the Nash, with the New York Knicks also pressing hard to complete a similar sign-and-trade deal, was swayed to join the Lakers after a determined push from Bryant and because the move not only keeps him in the le hunt but will allow Nash to stay in close proximity to his three children in Phoenix.
    that .

Maybe Nash can show Kobe his two MVP trophies and talk to him about those times he whipped Bryant's ass in the playoffs.

Quick question: Did you know that the last Laker 1st rounder that was worth a damn was Bynum in 2006? How'd that turn out?

If true, 9M a year (even if 3 years is long for someone his age) seems a lot more reasonable than I thought he would go for.

FOR S SAKE! Now I am starting to get pissed off. If Hill goes there then that is two players that would be in my favorites list going to the Lakers.

Grant Hill will go to the Lakers. He and Nash are tight as can be, and the Suns aren't looking to make a major push to keep him.
