it's dumb man... there's those out there that are willing and will help you learn and hone your skills but most just with you for a yr then start showing you or completely drop you for the of it.
i was in a weird situation and though i didn't really get much , i did get ed with a tad bit but i'm not 18-20's and i didn't give a how i was "supposed" to act towards other tattooers; i'm too old to shut my mouth if someone is trying to get under my skin and so i made at least 1 enemy which is fine by me.
it's like high school but like i said, if you surround yourself with the top echelon of artists in town, you can only succeed too. i try to make friends with the top of the top here so maybe one day i can work with them and learn a little from them.
btw, the shops i've been at would make all those reality shows look worse than they do. i've seen some crazy in the shops i've been in.
