If there are rumors it's probably just more smokescreen. IIRC, his surgery wasn't major.
I forgot where I heard them, but apparently the team is claiming it's false and he'll be ready to start the season.... I don't really believe THAT since Dwight himself says he can't even run right now....

do u believe anything this says?
Dwight says a lot of things, it's all subject to change.
DH also said he wanted to be traded over and over again last season and then proceeded to opt-in. dude says too much too often.
It'd be very odd of him to start DM'ing total bull to a random fan on Twitter, tbh.... I don't think Dwight's THAT crazy....
just an attention .. tbh
David Lee, Bynum's agent, said he was baffled by the recent Yahoo! report that listed Cleveland as a potential destination for Bynum in free agency. "When I read it online I was in Alaska with Andrew and his family ... I was taken aback by the list considering there is nobody in anybody’s camp he could’ve been talking to. I have no idea where that came about."

Lakers
trying but failing to create a super team
being toyed with
jason lloyd
- lee did not say this, but after hanging up with him, i had the distinct impression bynum is not interested in coming here long term. Again, that is strictly my opinion based on the phone call. The fact is he said they weren't in position to discuss it at this time.
Nash, Kobe, Pau, Bynum not considered a super team already
Kobe needing more help than he already has to compete for 6
Hopefully orlando does then then bynum walks at the end of the year and comes to big D
at this point i'd rather not see him get traded. i'd rather just see him get booed at home games.
Bynum blowing up a play by Orlando for a sweeter deal.
Damaged goods won't even make LA better tbh, not if the Lakers have to give up what they will to get him. Howard couldn't stay on the floor in big games due to foul trouble, and his explosive power will be severely hampered with his bad back.
Certainly he wants to sign a long term deal, he knows what's going on physically.
just got real es.
Didn't Bynum say he would consider HOU or was that BS?
Any type of back surgery major or minor should not be taken lightly. Anytime there are stability issues with the spine it is cause for concern.
In fact, no matter how well the surgery/rehab went a person who's undergone back surgery will always have some type of issue with their back.
Yes, allegedly.
@thinking Bynum has a list...and
@Bynum's agent for saying he has a list...
Bynum is not a star he won't make another decent contract outside of this...that will take the money and run...he has glass knees so whoever trades for him and his birds rights will be able to easily re-sign him..even it's a WNBA team...trust me Bynum has zero leverage..I MEAN ZERO right now he's just huffing and puffing because the Lakers don't really want him anymore![]()
