Common has one of the smoothest flows, like he's not even trying.
I think a lot of Common's greatness has to do with knowing his limits. He doesn't force anything... almost like the impact of the syllables are erased. Mos is opposite... his relies on the impact of the syllables which works to his style. I think Talib is a balance of both in combination with the highest level of originality. All three are badasses.
Pretty much nailed it with Mos Def, he's like Flava Flav without the crack
