This is fascinating. take a look at it from NASA archives, at the SOHO Theater. The useful filters are EIT 171, EIT195, EIT284, EIT304, and LASCO C2. I used 1024 x 1024 for them, but had to reduce it to 512 x 512 for the last filter. That one chewed too much memory for my system setup for memory. I used the dates from 3/8/12 to 3/12/12. I'm going to see if there is an archive viewer for a few other satellites.
