Thanks for proving the parties can nominate their candidates as they see fit.

The Cons ution guarantees a republican form of GOVERNMENT. Not party representation.
Yeah, and political parties are the ones nominating the people who get elected to the government, B.... furthermore, these conventions are funded by our tax dollars, so they should be run in accordance with our Cons utional rights....

"The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government"
    - Article 4, Section 4 of the Cons ution

Now, think, Chumpster.... if we had a pure democracy instead of the republican form of government, why would states hold primaries and caucuses to elect delegates for the party conventions? Wouldn't it just be "whatever the straw poll says goes"?

In fact, neither party would need a convention, because they'd just go off the ulative straw poll results after all 50 states have voted, or wait until all but one person drops out... of course, there's one gaping flaw in this system, and it's that vote-rigging is so easy nowadays with the computerized voting systems....

The whole point of having delegates and party conventions is to ensure that the tyranny of the majority can't affect the general election, similar to how we have the Electoral College to buffer the tyranny of the majority IN the general election....

Now, in a pure republic, we wouldn't have political parties (and I wish we didn't), but since we're stuck with them, their actions STILL can potentially violate Article 4, Section 4 of the Cons ution if they attempt to impede the republican form of government that we are guaranteed.... in my opinion, kicking out delegates who were legally en led to their seats IS a violation of that, tbh....
    Section. 4.

The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened), against domestic Violence.
You do realize that section, even charitably construed, says all about political parties right?

If that is what you are going on?

I do fully agree that what the GOP did to the Paul delegates was as dumb as the Los Angeles' mayors' dishonest handling of adding "God" back to the Dems plank.

But I don't think that the Cons ution really has any bearing on the internal workings of political parties, that are fully private ins utions.

A political party is not a state goverment, any more than a corporation, or an LLC is.

IMHO, as long as political parties are allowed to have influence on our electoral process, and as long as they're forcing the American taxpayer to pay for their primaries and conventions, they should be held to the Cons utional standard of a republican form of government, tbh.... if they don't want to be held to that standard, then they can fund their coronations out of their own pocket....

    Let's change that up:

IMHO, as long as corporations are allowed to have influence on our electoral process, they should be held to the standard of a republican form of government.

    Does it still work?

Do we force corporations to then hew to republican forms of organization?

Yes, it does still work.... the "corporations as people" justification is bull .... I have no issue with rich people donating a lot of money to a cause, but I do have an issue with allowing corporations to subjugate our Cons utional right to pe ion Congress on the phony premise that "they're people".... and no, it wouldn't take big-government, uncons utional laws to force corporations to stop rigging our electoral process, it just takes enforcing the First Amendment....

OK, even with the changed rules it was a republican form of nomination.

    Now what?

And I'm all for ending the PECF.

    No, it wasn't....

I view the nomination process as, say, the Conference Finals to the general election's Finals... the primaries, which are a public event funded by taxpayer money, and the conventions, which are also public events funded by taxpayer money, play the role of Election Day and the Electoral College, tbh... the GOP disenfranchising Maine's legally-elected delegates simply for supporting Ron Paul would be like the DNC deciding to kick every non-Obama elector out of the Electoral College... you can see where this is a problem, tbh....

If the GOP and DNC want to use the "private club" rationale as an excuse to outright rig the nomination process, then they should fund their rigged coronations with private money, tbh.... as long as We the People have to pay for them with our tax dollars, the primaries and conventions are public political functions that determine who runs our republican government, so they should be treated as such...

Maine was still represented with electors though, so it was a republican process.

Just say you wanted Paul to win without any real popular support. You'd be perfectly happy with that.

PS: Your attempts at metaphor are pretty bad.

Here is my theory about 9/11. And pay attention, this is the truest thing you will ever learn about it.

ChumpDumpster averages roughly about 7,900 to over 8,000 posts per year and currently sits at an astounding lead of over 70,320 posts which consists mostly of "what is your theory" "lol @ butthurt" "what do you think happened" "you're butt-hurt, I'm not butt-hurt" and "lol @ post count smack"

My theory is that had Spurstalk been around since 9/11 Chumpdumpster's post count would actually have him at a minimum of 86,000-90,000 posts or more, and maybe past 100,000, of good solid takes which would consist of some possible greatest hits such as "It's my first year posting, so what if I'm already at 9,000" "what is your theory about Y2k" and a couple more thousand "butthurts" and "be specific's"

This is a national tragedy and there needs to be an official unbiased investigation into why Chumpdumpster has been robbed of over 15 to 20 thousands posts since 9/11.

A Spurstalk 9/11 Commission Investigation needs to be opened up, which will be called Chumpgate . I appoint Nbadan, mouse, and cosmored to head up the investigation of Chumpgate and leave no stone unturned.

    We will find the truth!

The official story cannot be believed that Chump doesn't yet truly have 100k posts! We must fight for Chumps right for his lost posts and his right to trolling peoples opinions while not ever offering his own. His neglected family depends on it! If we don't find the truth, then what kind of nation are we?

    Chumpgate: A true 9/11 story

RIP Chumps at least 15,624 post lives lost since 9/11
    We must never forget..

It's the unfunny lawyer that spends too much time attempting unfunny posts.

FWD, In case you missed it, I gave my theory about 9/11 in this thread. If you are searching for anything else you can go look at the other 9/11 thread.

This thread is dedicated to CHUMP-GATE and the facts about how many posts Chump should actually have since the day that is 9/11/2001 and why he was robbed of nearly 20,000 posts.

The investigation is bringing us many details, in fact looking back on Chumps childhood this problem has been going on for quite some time...

So nothing about the World Trade Center or the Pentagon or Shanksville.

Your 9/11 theory is only about me. Seems about right.

You sure did change the subject once you got called out on your lazy pic posts. Can only expect you to your pants once you realized how ignorant you are compared to a guy like me. Guess you can blame it on all the morphine vaccinations you got when you were a kid.

Actually this thread has done exactly what I thought it would.

You have said nothing about the terror attacks of 9/11 and how you think they were carried out.

Someday, one of you will surprise me.

    Ah, who am I kidding?

Man, you'll try anything to avoid talking about the terror attacks of 9/11 and make it about me.

You were so sure of yourself when you were posting pictures that said "Think."

    What happened?

You will not divert attention away from Chump-Gate!

We must get answers, why do you have to live with your computer 24/7?

Why must you not have an outside life?

    Man, still nothing.

Ever wonder why no one has ever come up with an actual alternative theory about the terror attacks?

You are more interested in me than finding out the truth about the 9/11 terror attacks.

says the troll who started a thread for me with my screenname in the le when a thread is already out there for 9/11, says that guy that trolls and follows me everywhere in the forum lol

There is already a thread on 9/11. You wanted attention, you tried to TROLL by making this thread and it backfired, you just got trolled right back harder than you ever expected.

It blew up in your face and you had a sudden fit of rage and tried attacking me by bringing up my daughter completely out of left field because I showed what a trolling idiot you actually are.

You've been backpedaling and lying ever since and trying to attack me in other threads because I made you look like the internet addict you are.

This is a troll thread that you created about me. You aren't interested in any facts, only trolling, so you just got owned for it.

Get over it, stop melting down.

Stop your crying. You do it to everyone else all the time. Man up and stop being a baby.

I started it because you were posting all this about 9/11 and I wanted to know what you really thought.

Yes, I regularly call people out on this and you behaved just like all the rest -- clam up about the actual subject and go on a crusade against me.

Yes, I brought up your daughter because I feel your ideas about vaccines are pretty ed up too -- but I should have started another thread about that, because it got us, some comic gold from you about morphine vaccinations.

And please, you follow me around as much as I do you -- logging into your Bush or Rocky character trolls. Why? I suppose you're embarrassed I got to you so much. Feel free explain otherwise.
