son no other team in the NFL has been thru what the Saints went thru this off season and they will eventually prevail. It may take an entire season to recover from this nonsense, but that will come around. The truth always comes out.

Roger Goodell has been under pressure for several years now to continue to turn over billions of dollars, but make the game safer. All of the fuss about former players with injuries continued to build up and Goodell needed a scapegoat to punish to attempt to make the public believe they are doing something about it. Goodell could have chosen any team in the NFL to punish for a "bounty system" and he chose the Saints, because after all it is a much sexier headline to choose a top 5 NFL team that people care about rather than one of the bottom feeders who are doing the exact same thing. (similar situation happened to the Patriots years ago with spy gate. other teams were doing it and the NFL knew about it, but they wanted to punish the Patriots because they are extremely popular)
