I'll say this, Curry is a BIG BOY in the paint. Just him being in the paint makes a difference on the boards....

So is there anyway we can dump Blair and Bonner and just roll with TD, Diaw, Splitter, Brown, Curry, and Powell as the bigs?

Yeah I think Curry missed his only isolation baby hook in the paint, but the move still inspired confidence. Ball bounced pretty softly on the rim twice before gingerly rolling off.

He did throw up some garbage on a subsequent possession but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt for now.

I wonder who will be this year's Pops Mensah Bonsu/Ganai Lawal.
Whichever player from the Curry/Powell duo that gets cut.

I honsestly think we could win a championship or be very much better with the big man problem if that happend but Matt bonner is here to stay.

I'm to the point where if the Spurs don't keep Curry, I'll be pissed.

He's not going to be a main cog or anything, but he appears to be in decent shape and can provide something the Spurs don't have, which is height. He is probably the best option they are going to find in that category.

If they let him walk, this front office has lost its mind.

I'm sold on Curry making the team. If he doesn't I'll be upset.

By reading the posts after your reply, I think it'll be Curry.

I think a hungry Eddy Curry (no Dejuan, I don't mean literally hungry) has a fantastic upside:cost ratio. He's only about 4-5 years removed from being a 15/7 type player.

If It comes down to it I hope we can keep both Brown and Curry they would help us out a lot with the big man problem we have.

Splitter's injured. He was doing "no contact" drills just a couple of days ago.

and other than Brown, Wilkerson was the one player to get limited minutes early through training camp/scrimmage, etc. Brown is getting extended minutes tonight, hopefully Wilkerson plays in 2nd half
