^ Let's also not forget that a prime KG was actually a better player than a prime Duncan...look at their all time production in numbers...only problem is KG didn't have the le teams (support) to hold him up like Duncan did...

    All-time:

    Rebounds - KG 12th Duncan 18th
    Assists - KG 52nd Duncan 143th
    Blocks - Duncan 10th - KG 22nd
    Points – KG 22nd – Duncan 31st
    Steals – KG 20th – Duncan 225th
lmao like Duncan wasn't the fundamental reason why his "support" was so successful.

You forgot the stats that everyone's going to remember...
    les- Duncan 4 - KG 1
    FMVP- Duncan 3 - KG 0
    MVP- Duncan 2 - KG 1
Franchise player getting traded because you can't get the job done- KG 1 - Duncan 0

^Wow... KG truly s on Jim in pretty much every department.

Yes, it's well do ented how spurfan likes to act like Jim carried scrub teammates to 4 championships, when in fact, he was always surrounded by all star talent and good role players throughout his career.
You guys getting ready to party and cheer Kobe on for the scoring le since he won't be near the Finals? Scoring les, parting prizes for chucking losers.

Kobe will always get fellated by Kobe fans. And Kobe will always get criticized by Kobe haters. Regardless of what he does, what he says, or how he plays. That's just the way of the world.

Kobe critics will always find a way to discredit him no matter what. If Kobe plays well and the Lakers lose, it's that the Lakers can't win with Kobe being the go-to guy or he's a stat padder. If Kobe doesn't play well and the Lakers win, it's because the Lakers are better when Kobe isn't the go-to guy. If Kobe plays well and the Lakers win, it's because it's a meaningless regular season game or because the compe ion was bad. There will always be a way to twist things so Kobe can't get any kind of props. It works both ways. No matter how much Kobe sucks, Kobe fans will defend him or find a way to be a Kobe apologist. The way of the world. And the world keeps turning.

Kobe's played well so far this season, individually. Eventually, his shooting efficiency will come down when he gets a few of those 6-for-24 or 8-for-30 games under his belt. But to criticize his play right now is probably mostly about just hating him for the sake of hating him. He's not the reason the Lakers have struggled out of the gate, at the very least not one of the main reasons. But the standard is set. Regardless of how he plays, nothing will matter unless the Lakers win the le at the end of the year. And if they don't, Kobe will catch plenty of heat, deserved or not. But that's the standard.
Sorry, can't say any better, THE TRUTH has been spoken.

LOL. Yet it's pretty much the opinion of everyone, not just Spurs fans, that TD is the best PF in NBA history. Stats or no stats.
At the same time, it's the opinion of pretty much everyone (except Kobe fanbois) as well that MJ > Kobe, no matter the stats.

    Strange how that works, right?

Anyway, in topic, Kobe playing pretty well. Dwight is going to bring them down, though.
