Lakers fan mentality (actually from LG)
last time i checked, kobe was paid to shoot and other's were paid to pass to him. what more do you want from a guy? the lakers were up at the 4 th quarter, the bench was brutal, meeks was a no show, harden went 3/19 and the lakers still couldn't close out the game
this was an issue when the lakers lost to the spurs under bernie. if you can't close out a team when they are in your building and they are playing like a bunch of bums then you have to look in the mirror. using the 18 game sample size, there are 2 major problems with the lake show"
1 - They simply can not stop dribble penetration. this has become problematic and has cost a them at least 4 wins. Nash won't make it any better when he returns and kobe is too deep on the other end to come back and help. Meta is slow, gasol is slower, jamison is just lost on defense, so that leaves D12 to chase players around.
2 - Zero intensity and killer instinct going into the second half. Look at all the leads the lakers had at half time. Hou, Indiana, SA. They either think they are too good to lose, don't make adjustments at half time or they are tired. In most cases, I just think they don't care. They are taking their talent for granted.

No. Some ignorant OKC fans back at a point in time were calling for us to do whatever we had to do to sign Howard. Howard's an idiot. I woudn't want Howard in an OKC uniform for $5M a year. There's 3 complete re s in the NBA - like they all have the intellectual capacity of a 6 year old: Dwight Howard, Ron Artest, and Andrew Bynum. If you're stupid enough to actually spend that kind of money either of those guys, then you get what's coming to you. Outside of Howard, who we've determined is re ed, LA is old, gimpy, and remarkably unathletic. I don't see them going anywhere.
Only one I feel bad for is Gasol.
I have to admit I've enjoyed the last couple of years of the lakeshow. Since the mike brown signing I knew the last years of TOSB Kob's coat tailing career would be fun filled for any lakerhater, IMO TBH

Gasol would make a good front line with Duncan....you up for a trade...give us Kawhai or whatever the his name is and we'll call it even
