Lakers problem has been defense. Lakers ignore defense in greater desire to resurrect the show, so they fire Brown and hire D'Antonio. By the time the playoffs come around, he is going to be beasting on defense! Pau Gasol is going to come back and be way better than he was. Jamison is going to help us be able to keep his minutes down. He flamed out in the last 2 playoffs because he played too many minutes in the regular season. If we can limit him to about 32-34mpg, he'll be ready to ride. We just need a decent point guard and we will dominate. This system turned Jeremy Lin into a superstar for a while. They are running the same system in New York still, and look at how much better Ray Felton made them versus last year. I don't think you guys realize just how much better we are going to be with Steve Nash instead of Chris Duhon.

We cannot run up and down with these young teams, and shoot all these jumpshots early in the clock. Slow the game down....use bryant and Howard, and clamp down in the half court. If Dantoni wants to run when nash, gasol, & blake gets back...then thats fine. But We have to counter these athletic teams with a power game.
