Yup, like 100+ games without one. MJ had 6, LeBron has only 2.

He's only got about 16 games with 0 assists. However, he has something like 200 games with 2 or fewer assists.

Why is LeBron in a thread about SG? Why not compare Wade?

The answer will be Eric Piatrowski (link)

I included F-G and G-F in there as well, so the first few results were actually forwards.

If we are only looking at guards who played no forward, then Maurice Evans is your man (link)

But if you include only games where the player played more than 20 minutes, then you have a different result, with Maurice Evans ranking #2.

Most of the players ranked high on this list are role players who do not control the ball much, and have limited ball handling skills, mostly catch and shoot type players, or defensive specialists. They are not expected to create for themselves or others. I know what the OP is looking to do, but looking at the # of assists is not a way of looking at ball hogs. Many ball hogs have very impressive assists numbers (Iverson, Marbury, Archibald, Tim Hardaway, etc ...)

To answer KK81, Wade has 3 games in the regular season where he got 0 assists, but keep in mind he has played way less than Kobe in terms of games played.

BTW, Kobe had 52 games in the regular season where he recorded 0 assists for a tidy 26-26 record(link), which would rank him tied for 220 with Chucky Atkins, Randy Foye, Tate George and Randy Woods (gotta love that name) (http://bkref.com/tiny/OsHaC).

He also has 11 games in the playoffs where he recorded 0 assists, with 9 of them coming in during or before 98, and the remaining two over the last two playoffs, resulting in a 5-6 record. (link)

You forgot playoff games. Kobe chucks even more in the playoffs.
