These losses happen. Some nights you can't hit the broad side of a barn. OKC lost. The Clippers will have bad games in the near future too.
GG Pelicans. Pop with easily his worst game of the season.

Notable grades:
Manu - A
Pop, Green, Bonner - F
Had a great chance to gain a game on OKC tonight
Don't have any idea what the pop was thinking tonight this game was over as green came in without duncan when we were down what 5 only reason I can think of pop doing this is he wanted to lose this game on purpose.
And Bonner?
The Spurs are better than this though. I'm not sure what's going on but they need to fix it before the Laker game. Winning LAL actually means more to me than losing this one. Although it sucks.
This is the Knicks game all over again - destroyed on the boards, missing threes, layups not going down
True. But I'm more about the effort we displayed. Truthfully, the Hornets weren't playing that great that the Spurs couldn't capitalize.
game over...their just on fire tbh nothing you can do when they make 20 ft fadeaways
I swear to God sometimes this League feels rigged. Think about it, it feels like it all goes towards satisfying the Betting industry. Who in there right mind would bet that the OKC Thunder would lose to Washington? Or that the Spurs would lose to the Pelicans?
No matter how you slice it, putting up sub 90 on the Hornets with a days rest is pretty bad.
Noh killed us on reb and tos not gonna win like that
Strange loss. Only Manu turned up. Meh, just don't do it again, Spurs.
BTW, cue the cliff-jumping threads on ST!![]()
Sean echoing the comments. Tired is no excuse so what is it? LOL now putting Mills in.
Time for pop to play the soft card![]()
gg Spurs...Hornets shot well and wanted to win. Spurs looked uninterested from the start and thought they would get an easy a W tonight. At the end of the day it's a meaningless January regular season NBA game and it's not going to change the Spurs goals.
Time to throw this game away. Spurs will regroup.
Simply put, they just didn't respect the Hornets tonight which is dumb since the Hornets kept it close both games this season.
Hate giving a game like this away though.
Why didn't Pop play Duncan in the 4th? We had a legitimate shot to win this game
TBH - people have a right to be pissed with this effort. There were no built in excuses. Fully healthy, rested and just didn't compete or play hard. They deserved to be absolutely shredded for this performance and it's inexcusable.
Pop over managing minutes horribly this game.
