Except for the last 4mins of the first half, and the last 2 of the 4th, we played far better than we have recently.
To say we didn;t play better tonight than the past 3 games is utterly wrong - we would've lost this by 20 if we'd played the way we have been.
But for a couple of 20fters by Arthur, we win this in regulation.

There was no moral victory here. We lost, simple as that and we move on.

This would not be a moral victory anyways, Spurs should have won and blew it in the 4th late with stupid passes and bad shots.
We lost but played much better in doing it. That's really all I wanted to see.
You don't go from a slump to brilliant in one game - it takes a few. ANd this tells me we're coming out of the slump.

While sweeping generalizations aren't good at this point, I think it's fair to say that TD played badly -this game, that Danny didn't produce when the team needed him to-this game, and that the rotations were questionable at times -this game.
Memphis is a great team which is why the Spurs couldn't afford for Duncan to go AWOL, for Green to go 20% from 3, or for Bonner to see the floor. I don't see why people should have to deny what they see with their own two eyes.
I just hope they get out of their funk, this sucks.
And that matters in January why?
