Fwiw, Houston are on a 3 game slide and they have some very tough schedule ahead. Playing the Clippers, Dallas and the Pacers (All road games)this coming week could very well put them just 1 game above .500 while the Lakers will play Cavs, Bucks and the Raps (Heat game will obviously be a loss) Next week alone, the Lakers may be back near the playoff picture if they win 3 out of 4 and Houston drops the next 3 on the road which is plausible.

I don't know how Magic can know the Lakers are done for the season so early but it's going to be hard to turn around with all the changes, bad chemistry, bad at udes, negative expectations and press. It's going to take more than just Kobe's barking to turn this around. I fear that Nash is not alpha enough to right the ship. Unlike Bynum and Gasol, Howard and Gasol cannot co-exist. Gasol is depressed and Howard's reckless at ude and comments have become an unbelievable distraction. What an implosion. Another couple weeks of this and it's time to tank and just blow it up next season...
