Check this out. JUCO LB De'Vondre Campbell's saga continues. After showing up to school the other day wearing Kansas State gear and telling his coach he was committed to them, he texts a reporter from a Minnesota site saying he's still uncommitted. Campbell's coach re-confirmed today that he's committed to Kansas State. Weird deal.

I saw where you guys offered Sebastian Larue. Hearing he is contemplating a visit to Austin on Feb 1st.
As for Kyrion Parker, he's been flirting with taking official visits elsewhere for awhile now and remains the lone A&M WR commit who might end up elsewhere come signing day. I hope that isn't the case because I really like this kid.
Another note on Larue, He is visiting A&M this weekend and none other than Johnny Manziel is his host. I'd actually be somewhat surprised if he didn't end up at A&M. Something to watch though. He's also planning on visiting Notre Dame.
That also makes the offer to Kyrion Parker even smarter though. I'm not so sure he sticks around if A&M gets yet another WR commit.
I think Texas is trying to play both sides right now knowing both of them signing with A&M isn't likely.
I think Sumlin is doing something similar. tbh I'd rather have Parker out of the two but I don't think Sumlin wants to end up without either, knowing that Parker might change commitments regardless of what Larue does.
On another note, I expect Daeshon Hall to commit to A&M pretty soon as well.
Hope you guys get Hall. The more LBs y'all get this year, the less you get next.
Hall will play DE at the next level. Prevot might be able to move to the WLB position but Hall is definitely a Rush DE.
You're completely right. I always confused D Hall and Deoundrei Davis.
RB Peyton Barber of Alpharretta, GA has changed his visit plans for the weekend, per 24/7. He's going to officially visit Tennessee instead and is planning to take in Texas on Thursday or Friday of next week. He'll head to his Ole Miss shortly after that.
OL Caleb Benenoch tweeted that he heard from Mack today. Just my opinion, but I hope he's not back on the radar.
Are any of you Ags hearing that QB Kenny Hill has de-committed?
I heard someone say Randy Galloway reported that earlier but nothing so far from what I have seen. Sumlin had a in home visit with Hill on Tuesday and reports are that it went very well. Last I've heard of the situation. I know he's visiting K-State this weekend.
Leremy Tunsil just tweeted hookem
and that he will commit on Feb 6th
not to us though
Updates from 24/7...
-S Erik Huhn will be taking his official visit to Texas this weekend. He wasn't able to make the team banquet because Cibolo Steele was still in the high school playoffs.
-certain staff members are expected to be in California today to meet with JUCO OL Desmond Harrison.
-Mack is scheduled to see 2014 RB Donald Catalon this morning.
Quotes from the high school coach of OL/DL Andrew Billings (OrangeBloods). He'll be officially visiting TCU this weekend and Baylor next weekend:
"His family told both of those schools (Baylor and TCU) he would take official visits," Waco head coach Marty Herbst said. "That's why his dad was upset at him back when he pretty much verbally committed to Texas. He told him he needed to stick with his word and take the other visits."
"Could he change his mind? I guess anything is possible. A couple Texas coaches were in last week. He seems to really, really like those guys, Bo Davis and Darrell Wyatt. They came to see him, and there seemed like there was a pretty good chemistry there with the three of them, sitting there watching them talk.
"I can't say it's a formality that he's going to TCU and Baylor for visits. He's an 18-year-old kid and can he change his mind. The only reason I would say it's not a foregone conclusion is because Texas doesn't get to go last and get the last shot."
"He pretty much said I'm coming (to Texas). His dad normally goes on all the trips with him, but his dad was sick that week and didn't go. His mother went with him. His dad wasn't necessarily against what he did, he just wanted him to keep his word."
"I think he likes coach (Bo) Davis that much and relates to him. In talking to him, hearing what coach Davis sees in him, talking to him about getting in the rotation right away, they're both weight lifters, Davis has a pretty impressive track record with his players," Herbst said.
"He was our best player. You normally don't say that about a lineman, you say it about a running back or quarterback. But he was the best player on the team," Herbst said. "He led by example. He's academic all state, a good kid and works his butt off. He's rubbed off on other kids, they've seen the success he's had and his work ethic."
Sorry for the off topic, but does anyone here know sahoopster? Or someone that attends Incarnate Word?
My friend works in the accounting/grants department.
Can you PM me, please?
Hey TFloss...I'll PM you...
Thanks. Responded to you.
-Texas is out in California visiting OL Desmond Harrison. -Kirby Smart is interviewing with the Philadelphia Eagles. I didn't think much of it until I remembered that A'Shawn Robinson is visiting Alabama this weekend.
Is the Smart interview confirmed? Heard it was BS.
Of all the decommitments Texas had this year, to me Hall was the biggest, if he picks aggsy I am going to be pissed, we could really use him as we will be losing two DE next year.
