CP3 is still the league's best PG, look at how he turned the Clips into a contender.

That said, number 2 is a bit murky. Tony has a case for being the second best PG in the West.

And a win tomorrow in Dallas will just about lock in Pop as coach.
Pop's trying to tank by not coaching Mavericks game and holding out Tim. He's probably upset with the team for winning the Hornet's game.

tbh if Irving can make it, then from now on what your team does on the court has no importance whatsover.

It's actually in the Spurs' best interest for Pop to be the West coach. That way, he can limit Duncan's and Parker's minutes.

    Western Reserves All Star Experience

    Tim Duncan = 14 years
Rest of the Bench minus Parker = 10 years

    3. Who should fill the West's first frontcourt spot?

Abbott: Tim Duncan, and he'll be backing up Dwight Howard who has been less individually productive and on a far worse team. I imagine Duncan would prefer a weekend off, but he has played far too well for that.

Foster: Tim Duncan. Duncan is posting some of the best numbers in his illustrious career, and his defense at age 36 is a big reason the Spurs have the third-most efficient defense in the league. If Kevin Durant and LeBron James weren't so otherworldly, we'd be talking about Duncan for MVP. It's a crime he's not an All-Star starter.

Haberstroh: Tim Duncan. Are we sure he isn't Benjamin Button? When most players hang 'em up, Duncan has raised his scoring average by two points each of the last two seasons since turning 34 years old. The guy can barely jump over an iPhone yet he's blocking shots more often than any point in his career. At this point, I'm guessing he'll be an All-Star until he is 60 years old.

Nowell: Tim Duncan. Duncan doesn't care about this, but he's simply been too good this year to ignore.

Thought these were all nice writeups about the big fella

I was about to question why Splitter didn't tag Duncan, then I came to my senses and remembered.
I bet Timmy has an Xbox Live ID though, probably about as much as he bothers with tbh

Anyways, I'm happy they both got nods. Both very well deserved, even if I'd rather they both stay home and rest.

I'd love to see that. I don't particularly give a if they play, I just wanted them to get the recognition, which is sort of a joke because of Howard and KG anyway.

Curry not making it is a total sham tbh he definitely should have made it over Aldridge
No real complains with the East reserves, I'm actually really happy coaches recognized Irving and Holiday despite their teams' records. I've never been a fan of the notion that just because your team isn't playing well, you can't be an all star. Clearly, Irving and Holiday have had all star seasons. My real problem with the outcome are KG and Dwight...idk if Dwight even deserved to be an all star this year tbh, and Brook should have had KG's spot (maybe not starting, but somewhere on the team)

No Nets making it is another robbery. Well just Brook Lopez. Should be Lopez instead of Deng.

Howard's the problem. He has no business being an all-star this year. Absolutely none. Curry should've been picked in his place.

KG also doesn't deserve to be an all-star but I actually don't mind the accomplishment selections. The fans completely dropped the ball with the Dwight Howard thing though.

So happy Tim And Tony are in! But Duncan should be starting! Howard is garbage! With the way he plays trying to use his athletic abilities, his knees wont last four more years!
