Yeah, but it's not though, is it. Melbourne is by far the least bogan area of Australia. I don't understand how you can argue otherwise.
And you're right, there are probably more gay people in Sydney than other areas of Australia because they'd be less likely to be gangbashed for being gay in Sydney, once again because of lower bogan proportions.

Yeah it is a bit of a generalisation. Sorry for any butthurt caused. But I stand by the fact there are much higher bogan population proportions outside Melbourne and Sydney than inside Melbourne and Sydney.
I have to deal with people who live all over the country for my work and these are just my takes from doing that for 3ish years, I'm not just pulling out of nowhere to start internet fights.

I've encountered 'Brand Name Bogans' in Australia. They present better that your average bogan because they always have brand name clothing on.
