Pistons were debuting Calderon too, IIRC... makes sense they were extra motivated

And it was a predictable loss - no Tim, no Manu, and all the Pistons needed was some good guard play (which they got).

The cliff-jumping fans around here seem to think we should go 82-0.
I swear. The forum is so idiotic. Tbh, the Spurs were on an 11 game winning streak. I just had a feeling this game was the one to lose.

You guys crack me up. I did not see the game and just stepped in and looked at the box score. Damn Spurs win 11 games and cannot win 12 in a row! They suck! Make trades! Blah blah blah....You want to see issues turn on the Heat LAC game. Now that the Clips are brought back down to life, all is good. Spurs vs OKC in West Conf Finals...

Pop doesn't look worried. He knew they were likely to drop this one.

Pistons have been playing well lately, they're coming together. They should look to re-sign Calderon to a decent contract. I think he's good for them.

Green is plain stupid, he can't do except hit threes. Neal and Blair are all that bad. Jax is old and hasn't the bball iq to handle his physical decadence. Mills, De Colo are useless. The Spurs won't go anywhere with this bunch of scrubs. Get rid of 'em all.

Can't shed too many tears about this. The Spurs are beyond due for a loss considering they've played shorthanded for quite a while now. The Pistons are a bad matchup to begin with since they have like five perimeter players who can drive to the hoop and the Spurs aren't great at defending drivers. Add in no Duncan to protect the hoop (and deal with Monroe) and add the Pistons being hot from the perimeter and you have a standard loss.

    Ho well.

The Pistons are better than I thought. I saw them in the exhibition game against Twolves in Canada and I thought man these guys are terrible. Some good young talent. They are 5th in the fricken league in rebounding!

Not gonna complain losing to a good team, but letting the Pistons drop their season high in points on us? That's pretty terrible.

Most annoying is Splitters minutes. If Tim isn't playing, there's no reason for him to be under 30 minutes. Bonner 19 minutes, 1 rebound when we get hammered 49-33 on the boards is embarrassing.

I actually had the Spurs beating Detroit tonight in a tough win. But the Pistons had extra motivation while the Spurs are starting to feel the effects of Tim and Manu being absent. And the Spurs brought their worst effort in a while. Nothing more, nothing less.

Fair enough. But don't question others for believing in his 3 point shot then.
Jacksons a good hustle player and defender but he can't shoot worth a damn this season. It should be concerning seeing as he broke one of his fingers this season
