Bring on the LAL... They ain't all that.
Rather beatdown the Lakers 1 last time in what will probably be the Spurs contending era
even if the Spurs contend next year LA is likely out of the playoffs with a terrible Bible Kemp, 40 year old Nash, older Kobe who says he would probably be playing his last year and possibly with Gasoft
In the first LA meeting Parker was horrible
he was still in that begining of the season slump where he couldnt penetrate or hit anything and would only take like 4 shots a game
in the second meeting Hill/Howard/Gasol were out and the Spurs took it easy
it will likely be a gentlemens sweep if they meet in the playoffs
and i dont buy that Lakers will make the playoffs by getting on a hot streak
if they get in it will be because of injuries to other playoff teams or incredibly cold streaks like what is going on in Golden State
Bring on the LAL... They ain't all that.
Avoid them??? Why??
Was hopin we could get in that trade and get Patterson
Paranoia I guess. Fear of them getting it together and Kobe going nuts on us lol
We will go 5 on 8 with Stern as cheerleader for them.
No, once a player is traded, to turn around and trade him again immediately, he has to go out alone, no other players. His contract doesn't match Smith's.
...great idea. i wouldn't laugh. the kings were making us work last night. maybe a little kiss ass on cousins is a good route to travel.
I know the playoffs are all about matchups but why are some here sweating the prospects of facing an 8th seed? LOL. If we have any real aspirations to win it all, then an 8th seed should be the least of our concerns. Sure, it's happened where we've lost to an 8th seed but we were missing Manu and TD wasn't 100% at that time. Oh by the way, if the Warriors keep struggling, we may very well face them as an 8th seed. If you want to talk about who would be the easiest 8th round matchup, that's a different story and the Warriors would probably be our easiest matchup since we own them.
Parsons just got injured... Lakers got a shot
I used to always laugh at PHO. It seemed any time there were twins in the NBA, they got the ty one. I guess the solution to that is to get both.![]()
True.
ok, i never knew which Collins brother was worse.
they both suck, but Jason is the one in the NBA still (Boston) and Phoenix ended up with Jarron who hasn't been in the NBA for a while.
even if they weren't twins, PHO still landed the tier brother.
Taylor Griffin (Blake Griffin's brother)
Luke Zeller (Tyler Zeller's brother)
Ken Berger @KBergCBS Make that Rodrigue Beaubois and Dominique Jones available in Dallas. It's been a long day.
Steve Kyler: Houston did the Morris deal because Phoenix is trying to get a better offer in on Josh Smith... clock was ticking for Phoenix. Twitter stevekylerNBA
Marc J. Spears: Kings move was all about cutting costs and not something management enjoyed doing, a source said. Twitter @SpearsNBAYahoo
Brian Windhorst: Suns have to make roster move to make room for Morris deal. Teams have been expecting a Jermaine O'Neal buyout/release if not traded. Twitter windhorstESPN
Jermaine O'Neal might become available for free
Funny, Phoenix decides to let Robin Lopez go and he immediately plays well as a Pelican
Ken Berger @KBergCBS In Minnesota, J.J. Barea is indeed available, as are Luke Ridnour and Derrick Williams, sources say.
That rule is pretty easy to get around in two ways:
1 -- if the trade has not be officially accepted, then the Rockets can negotiated with the Hawks and just include them as a fourth team.
2 (more interesting) -- The Rockets could do a trade like Robinson and filler for Smith and Petro. Robinson for Petro would actually be a separate deal, but it would only happen because of the larger context. This type of split trade violates no rule, and it's used often.
^Perkins and lamb DNP. Trade cooking up??
I think Lamb is dnp every game.
Wow Harden drops 46 points on his former team and picks up the W! Poetic justice![]()
