That was a mistake. Sometimes I want to tell Manu to sit the down. His boneheaded plays were cute and funny back in 2003. It's past time for him to stop being so goofy in inopportune moments.
Wow Stephen Curry has just 8 points on 10 shots! Put Neal on him!
Warriors MVP: Gregg Popovich

Oh I almost forgot, no 70 wins![]()
What pisses me off more than anything is that the ing Thunder gained ground tonight.
WCF Parker showed up
right when he starts getting love this always happens
complete disappearing act in the second half
0 penetration and deflected to Tim/Manu the whole time
and Jarret Jack always ting on the Spurs
Warriors are such a bull , gimmicky team. Would love to see them fall to 8th seed so SA could give them the beating they deserve.
In hindsight, would it have made more sense to put Green on Jack since he had it going and put Parker on Curry?
Meh. They challenged a scrub team. The Thunder havent looked impressive lately.
Tony looks tired from carrying the team all year. Gonna need Ginobili to contribute more for the Spurs to have a chance. It'd be nice to see him a little more than once every 5 games. Tony can't carry his brittle ass for the rest of the year.
They remind me of OKC. Such a gy team tbh.
Jarret Jack made balled all over Tony tonight. And I don't even think Tony scored the last 15 minutes of the game, did he?
Thunder have a harder remaining schedule, Spurs will remain the #1 seed in the NBA come time for the playoffs.
Jarrett Jack is a Blazer castoff, imagine if he actually played this well for 82 games. Still, it looked like the Spurs gave up when the score was 80-67, those are the games you should be closing out.
No matter, win on Sunday, 7-2 on the road trip still works out.
That and the Lakers won at the very end of the game too.. ty night for Spurs fans.
at gnsf cliff jumping after the 13 loss of the season
still 3 games ahead of OKC with a pretty cushy schedule up soon
at least houston won...lakers gained no ground
I really hope the Spurs don't play LA in round one. TP is phenomenal but he's not the type of dominant player that can't be shut down no matter what. There is only a handful of players like that. They fought hard, but I really hope we don't see that awkward TD forced down low style of play too often in the playoffs - I just don't believe it will work.
Spurs are going to be in most games now because of their improved defense, which is great, so I am hopeful for their sustainable success. I just hope they don't draw a brutal playoff match up(s)
We've been kicking ass this season and on this trip. Tony beasted all night last night and he was out of gas in the second half. You guys ripping him need to chill the out. Yes there was a collapse in the 4th but we're still in amazing shape.
Have a feeling Timmy might not play Sunday, he was noticeably limping
Jumpshooting team.
Annoyed me though how the Spurs couldn't draw contact in crunch time.
worst of all the official charge to 70 wins is over![]()
Meh, thought this would be a loss, which was fine considering they won the only must-win game of the trip last night. Only thing I'm worried about now is the Heat catching the Spurs for best record; they're only one game back in the loss column.
Back in January, the Thunder lost in Oakland in a similar game under similar cir stances -- 3 road game in 4 nights following an impressive win over the Clippers at Staples. It happens.
I thought we would lose the first game we played the Warriors this season, tbh. They are a legit playoff team and it seemed they were determined to beat us at least once this season and tonight was the night. It took their best game of the season, even the local announcers here (I live 30 minutes away from Oakland) are saying it was their best game since the '07 season when they beat the Mavs in the 1st round of the playoffs.
