Blazers give the Spurs the kind of home whooping that only the Heat have been able to give.

Blue font there. Spurs might just drop two in a row.
Gotcha. Not sure if you were serious there or not.

Popovich lost the game with his terrible rotations
Which rotation didn't you like? The rotations that he played were basically what he played against Chicago and Detroit.

Is it safe to say tonight was the worst defensive performance in the TD era?

It's up there. That's quite the long era, so not sure, but this is almost as bad as it gets.

When you take it up the ass inside opening up everything for the Blazer, maybe you should play Baynes instead of giving charity minutes to the turd towers....

Allowing Hickson to continue shooting is a good strategy, regardless of his effectiveness..he's a black hole and he won't continue having success all game..

Aldridge isn't an alpha, he frequently loses aggression..

Allowing points from those guys doesn't beat you..the game got away from the Spurs once Lillard took over and their
perimeter players got an abundance of open shots..
Lillard takes over because our bigs had to start coming up on the pick and roll (which they did terribly) because of Aldridge + Hickson, making it easier for Lillard to go by them. Then, when they started staying back on the pick and roll, he hit a bunch of jumpers.

I think you guys are overreacting a little bit. Before TD got into foul trouble it was more or less even. The momentum didn't swing fully until that sub and by the time the full line-up got in the Blazers were in rhythm. Spurs were out of sorts for the rest of the night and the Blazers always play our team tough.

Spurs do need to start making more adjustments with TP out though.
Not really. TD is never able to stop Aldrige, he tends to hit the flukiest shots. Weird that Hickson had such a great game. The O was fine other than Manu had a bad game. CoJo did fine on Lillard for the most part too.

I was surprised that Baynes wasn't even played in garbage time. Must be a nightmare to be a rookie under Pop's coaching.

We're gonna tear you guys a new asshole. ESPECIALLY with that abortion that's called the Spurs' perimeter defense. Look for a statement game when Kevin and Russ come into town.

Didn't like the stretches when Manu and Green were guarding Lillard: Manu is too slow and Green sags off too much for a hot 3 point shooter.

This game started with bad signs when Hickson and LAM went inside for multiple dunks in the 1st Q. After that it got progressively worse.

Work out what went wrong and learn from it, then move on.

Having either Diaw OR Bonner on the roster is fine, but both is not OK. Splitter and Duncan CAN play really good post defense despite tonight, but when Bonner and Diaw come in, the defense gets far worse.
