Not that I have anything against Le`brone but I find myself forced to go with Messi...because even though Le`brone won with his national team he didn't win gold until Kobe showed up...once he proves (2016) he can win gold without Kobe then I may give it to him...until then it's Messi

I didn't say Messi wasn't a historic player, he's already one of the best in history, obviously..he is up there with the great players of our sports era, such as Bonds and Lance Armstrong, tbh..historical figures..

I don't watch enough of the sport to make an argument, but I'm assuming Messi has probably dominated the World Cup tournaments, despite Argentina failing as a team, right?..

of course that Ronaldo gif ends with a dive
He was chopped down from behind by a frustrated defender. If Messi were tall enough to stepover the ball, he'd be stunting on dudes like that too.

Is this a joke? Anyone who doesn't say Messi is an idiot. Messi is the best of all time and hasn't reached his prime
he isn't the greatest of all time in his own country tbh... But he is just short 2 WCs and one scudetto with trash team to be.... It's already a great achievement.

I think Ronaldo is phenomenal too, tbh... a bit too insecure, but a great footballer no doubt...

Lebron deserved his MVP, the midget won his latest ballon d'or because people don't know the difference between a scoring le and an MVP trophy

I couldn't read this since I was distracted by Messi scoring his second goal of the afternoon... what was that again?

To be fair, Nash has two MVPs so the ridiculousness of MVP voting exist on every sport, tbh

So I let all of you have some fun for a little while now I'm gonna lay down the truth.

It's really difficult to compare the sports 'cause basketball players in general have more responsabilites, it's only logical.

With that said it's clearly Messi, Messi at age 25 has a serious case as the greatest player of all time. He has improved his numbers year after year and what he did last season of breaking Muller's record was unthinkable, it was like breaking Wilt's record of 50 ppg on a season on this modern era, and this year he's on pace to breaking his own record again. He regularly leads the scoring and assisting tables on Europe. And when it's all said and done he will have pretty much every individual record there is on football.

it's a tough call i guess since both players have achieved massive successes in their professions respectively. but if i have to pick one i would go with my bron because my isn't trapped in a little 's body and my never acts like a drama queen like the little argentinian midget usually does.

on the other hand, messi is pretty overrated. he just benefits from playing on a great team (barcelona) where he gets the most highlights (since he plays an attacking role) while the real cornerstone of this team is xavi, or sometimes iniesta. there's a reason this team has been playing so bad recently w/o xavi, and the midget has also been suffering sort of a scoring drought w/o xavi delivering him assists from the midfield. it's for a similar reason that he has never achieved any legit successes with his national team (dude did win the olympic medal but who gives a about olympics?)

furthermore, messi is the durant of soccer. refs will do everything to protect him like he's a pregnant princess and they'll show you the yellow card for breathing at him, which makes him untouchable when he's on the ball so that he can even dribble into the goal if he wants to, with refs escorting his ass all the way

Xavi hasn't missed any recent/important match and Messi is on an 18 games scoring streak.

Hard to argue against Lebron right now. He is unquestionably the best player in basketball, likely on his way to a second consecutive championship. He has a real shot of being considered the greatest basketball player of all time by the time his career is over. Lebron is winning everything right now: awards, championships, Olympic medals, 22 straight games. He is at the pinnacle.
