Lakers: Easy - playoffs. For starters if they miss the playoffs they don't have a lottery pick since they traded it. Secondly, they rake in so much money the playoffs is worth it financially. Lastly, they are the only one of the three that has talent enough to maybe pull off an upset.

Dallas: Lotto. They have no talent, no chance in the playoffs. They have a lot of cap space & getting a lotto pick could turn their fortunes instantly.

Utah: Playoffs. Small market teams making the playoffs is a big enough deal that you can't pass on it.

Lakers are in the driver's seat, and their schedule is most favorable IIRC.

You would think so on paper but then you have Lakers lose to Wizards at home and Warriors with an injured Curry, then things change a bit.

Weird, I see it exactly the opposite way.

    It doesn't matter.

Our FO already said we're tanking next year anyway so nothing to look forward to until next years draft lottery.

getting a lotto pick instead of a 1st round kick doesn't sound a bad option at all for them mavs, but i believe s are still gonna do their best to continue their playoff-making streak that has lasted for well more than a decade, and it would be fun to see the LA super team missing the playoffs tbh.
