Even with all of the calls that the Lakers got in the 2002 WCF, the Kings were just a made free throw or two away from a Western Conference championship. That makes it even worse. With all of the love the Lakers got from the refs and Stern in the 2002 WCF, they just barely beat the Kings. With that being said, when you play teams that benefit from Stern's love and his refs, you have to step up and continue to play your ass off. That's what the 2011 Mavs did in game 6 of the Finals. Stern was trying to give the Heat that game with plenty of love at the FT line but Dirk, JET, and the Mavs said no and they continued to go to the damn basket and played defense and didn't about the refs.
