That's actually huge. I think they also have a nice stretch of home games at the end, 6 of 7 including last night, but finish with MIN and MEM on the road.
Would be also be nice if Phoenix will get the #1 pick the cleveland way(the lower % getting #1 then their own pick was 4th).

Yeah, but the Mavs get a shot at the top pick in that scenario.
Well it is better than getting a #1 pick on a draft with an oneal or duncan or lebron.
There won't ever be one of any of those again unless the NBA ups the age limit. Players come into the league WAY too raw to ever step in and be an All Star in year one any more.
Honestly, I'd rather play either of the Jazz or Lakers than the Rockets tbh. The Rockets actually play fairly well against us. While I doubt that'd go more than 5-6 games, that series would have a lot closer games than we would against Jazz (I'd predict another sweep including a couple blowouts tbh), and Lakers (4-5 games, at least one blowout). Rockets would be a 5-6 gamer with 3-4 close games.
I'm hoping for the Lakers. Nothing would be better than sweeping the Lakers out of the first round, not even them missing the playoffs entirely tbh. . .because you will still get some dumb gots claiming they only didn't win because they didn't make the playoffs because of dropping a few games early in the season when they had a few injuries. . .or will somehow find a way to blame Mike Brown for it.
Same here. Thinking the Lakers would be good is the only preseason prediction I made this year that I was way off on. I don't feel bad about it since almost everyone who wasn't trolling had them finishing top 3, but jesus christ, completely unexpectedly combination of players.
I enjoy it though. It's a prime example of talent not always being better than a well put together team. The Nuggets, with zero stars, are clearly much better than the Lakers when healthy.
I want them to miss the playoffs, drop into the lottery, and have no pick.![]()
The additional benefit of playing against and beating the Lakers is improving Tim's head-to-head playoff record against Kobe's Lakers... 3-4 is more respectable than 2-4...
Utah would be tougher this year simply cause of Mo Williams. Might get them a game or 2 the way he seems to go off on us.
i want the lakers to miss the play offs big time, if the mavs miss it that's fine too. Also the thing about the two picks being lottery after like 12years for one and from bynum for the other, is huge.. I still hope we win a le and then when duncan and manu retire, we tank it big time, so the number one pick would be almost a given, lakers and mavs could do it too, but if they lose those picks this year, it is really huge.
Bone spurs.
No, we'll just hear how courageous he was playing in such agonizing pain without ever mentioning his bone spurs and that the other players needed to step up and scream for the ball. Oh, and that it's MDA's fault for not being PJ.
Who holds the tie breaker with Dallas/LA?
Lakers as of now...they still have one game left H2H though
Lakers, unless Dallas wins on Tuesday, then the season series is split..
So if they split, who holds the tie breaker?
Whomever finishes with a better conference record, which the Lakers also have a one game edge on as of now.
Conference record, which is virtually identical at this point..
All right, I'm sold. I think I'd prefer that too
The Lakers remaining schedule is ing brutal.
Good. Kobe needs to be taken down a peg or two.
@ Sacramento
vs Dallas
vs Memphis
@ Los Angeles
vs New Orleans
@ Portland
vs Golden State
vs San Antonio
vs Houston
And Utah's remaining schedule:
vs Brooklyn
vs Portland
vs Denver
vs New Orleans
@ Golden State
vs Oklahoma City
vs Minnesota
@ Minnesota
@ Memphis
Dirk just took a massive all over the Bulls and Father Time, tbh..
Both Mavs and Lakers are 17-13 against the east with no game left to play against eastern teams. If they are tied, they will have the same conference record.
The next tiebreaker is the record against own conference playoffs teams. Mavs are 6-16 and Lakers are 5-16.
