So we beat the Clips and we're hot sauce, lose to the Heat bench two days later and we suck?

damn, you need to head back upstairs...
I'm sorry did I make a big deal out of that Clipper win?

And lets not lose sight of the truth here El, this Spurs team is mentally fragile and always get expose somewhere in the playoffs. Always on cue.

    - I'm good. I accepted our fate many months ago. You, on the other hand, have reason to believe in the drive for 5 this year. Up until today that is. They played without their 3-best perimeter defenders and still locked down phony Parker - you're best player. that , ya dig?
Quit lying. After every come-from-behind win against teams like the Raptors and Bobcats, you were in here gloating about how the Lakers are priming themselves for a run, prompting you to dust off the shelf for number 12. And no, you weren't trolling. You're really that much of a homer.

On the other hand, you'll find nary an instance of me talking up the Spurs in that fashion.

conceding 60+ points against clippers by half time was atrocious enough tbh, despite they ended up winning that one. spurs played the best defensive of the league back in the years when they were champions, but they've completely lost what used to make them great imho. neither splitter nor some scrub like diaw is able to carry on the spurs glory tbh. the aging duncan needs more help but he can't even get nestrovic-quality bigs playing alongside him, which's sad

LOL he was here just a few weeks ago gloating about that obtained 8th seed.

Apparently just a few weeks=months in the mind of this lakerfan.

that's probably because our supposed best player and leader turns into a pouty when things aren't going well, gets frustrated, goes into heroball mode and chokes in the playoffs. sigh....as great is Duncan is, we can't rely on him for carrying us through, not as his age. and it doesn't help that Manu is once again injured, cue the ing per par.

This team needed more balls... in other words, Manu (even sucking) and Jackson... neither was out there at the end... and Pop needs to learn from this ...

The reality is that Miami is unbeatable, but the West this season is probably even weaker than last season after the beard moved to Houston...

But it's all for nothing if you keep trotting red head out there, and 'MVP conversation' keeps laying eggs...

The last time the Spurs played like an elite team was the King's game in which Tony got injured. Since then they've been god awful. They won't be getting any sort of stride before the playoffs start. The best they can hope for is an easy first round matchup against the Jazz to maybe get a rhythm. Even then, I've been fairly convinced this team is ed against OKC/Denver/possibly Memphis out West, much less doing anything against Miami.

First off, FIFY. No need to thank me.

I'm not going to sit here and say that I'm not always hopeful (you call it blind homerism). I'm in the military - that's how I'm wired - to always believe. It could be game 7, and we're down 5 points with 0.3 seconds left and I won't give up until the clock is at 0.00 seconds. That being said, I'm a realist and cannot ignore the fact that we have been struggling against scrub teams all year long. Basically, we're a 0.500 team - with all of the talent we have (on paper)? I'm like GTFO - this 's embarrassing. But in the end, I'm still a die hard Laker fan. Until some team sends us to the 2013 playoff tree of woe, you will see me here talking like I always do.

    - statistically, I was right. Neal with it son.

Question for you. Which is a more successful season:

Team A: #1 seed. No le
Team B: #8 seed. No le

For Extra Credit: Is there really a difference? that , ya dig?

    Carry on.

I can respect the fact that you can admit to being a homer.

well, considering one team has the highest payroll and if it loses, it won't only be the biggest league joke but an even bigger stain for an overrated player than when he raped a chick. ya dig?

How the does a Spurs team with Tim Duncan lose to a Heat team that does not have DWhistle and Lecrab? Losing to the Heat on a Bosh 3 pointer is pathetic.
