Jack's MRI was negative. Prolly will be back tomorrow.
I assume Tony just neds to sit out until the 1st round. That or Pop is purposely keeping this info hush hush. Haven't even heard about Jackson

Still think it'll be a rest type scenario with him starting in the playoffs. I don't like it because of the rhythm but its better than him trying to go out there and do something that will get him hurt again.
Hopefully, it will all work out and the Spurs can still make a stand in the playoffs.
WCF trip or bust.. That's my expectations anything beyond that is icing on the cake.
Same here, I'm fine with that but I want that game 7 that was supposed to happen last year. Basketball fans were robbed of a great game 7 that was just itching to happen.
I come to the sight and see a seven page TP injury thread and think its something serious. I open it up and it's nothing but bull . Only on Spurstalk.
This is why I wanted the 1st seed because Denver matches up well against OKC even with the injuries but we're capable of taking them in a series and last night proved that. If we had been blown out by 25 and didn't have any runs then I'd concede we were done but it was still a very winnable game with as many flaws as we played with and injuries.
Yeah, pretty much! Just a lot of speculation. I don't think no news is good news. Look how long it took to say Manu was out. First he was out for one game, three days later it was much worse. Uggghhh.....
Your damn right, that was bound to happen and it did not because of the Refs. Spurs did blow a big lead yes, but the Refs did what they could in there to make sure it happened.I pretty much think you are right here, I would bet it is worse than we think right now being they are so quiet on it. Usually POP says he is out for a while and probably a few weeks, we have not even gotten that yet so I know it's worse than just a few weeks being nothing is said. Not even a tweet from a teammate or Tony yet at all, I know thats not good.
Spurs falling apart per the usual.
Good that they're avoiding us in the first round. They would be getting 8.
"avoiding" the Lakers
You probably won't be playing in the playoffs, so it's not of much concern...???![]()
nah, Lakers are making it. call me cynical, call me realistic, NBA is making it happen.
as for Tony, the lack of news or tweets from him is a bit alarming. i can't lie, I still think he would choke in the playoffs if healthy, but I hope for his health and his future it's nothing serious. I wish he wouldn't have rushed back so quickly, but what's done is done at this point.
Yeah, I'm not too happy about being right in this case, but the silence is deafening. Too %^$ing quiet to be good. I'm still holding out for something workable....a month....anything.
This was posted on the FB page for the Tony Parker show:

That doesn't sound good.
The fact they're still talking about health for the playoffs is good, but then again I'm prolly reaching at this point.
Neither of those is an especially tough game. Those are still two JV Eastern Conference teams, whose records are inflated by playing in that conference.
We need 3 games to lock 2nd seed. We can win them without Tony, Manu and even Duncan. We shouldn't risk none of them until the play-offs after now.
Enough is enough.
looks like CoJo starts tonight

Not sure if I'd trust ESPN tbh, I doubt they've gotten that from Pop. It would be weird if De Colo didn't start, though I guess the explanation would be that Pop would want to keep De Colo playing with the second unit.
ESPN has had CoJo in the starting lineup for a while now, might not happen unfortunately.
