Holy this thread took an infuriating turn. I am by no means a police or military sympathizer or defender, but anybody questioning their ap ude in finding this guy is a goddamn got. America is a country probably 90% full of selfish pussies who rarely lift a finger to cover anybody's ass but their own. The fact that there were so many unselfish police and/or military is the ONLY reason this bag was captured. If there wasn't this massive manhunt going on with so many police, this guy would never have been caught and all the tough talking after-the-fact pussies would have been turning on each other and making things 1000x more chaotic. A large group of fearful humans is the most moronic, stupid, and dangerous thing in existence. The presence of a group of semi-unafraid law enforcement is the only thing that kept the possibility of catching this guy even a remote possibility.

9,000 Police officers were on the look out for this guy. Not only that, these 9,000 officers were situated in a 20-block perimeter where the guy was in all the time. How in satan's did it take them that long to find this kid?
If it weren't for a man going for a quick smoke, the 9,000 or so personnel would have never been tipped off and we probably wouldn't be having this discussion.

the 9000 of them lost the 19 year old for almost a whole day, the kid ran on foot, they had helicoters, tanks, machine guns, radios and radars
they finally found him thanks to a call by a home owner and thanks to a blood trail

1) You have no ing idea how long it should take, or how many men it should take. Might as well argue about the number of engineers needed to build the CERN super collider.
2) 48 hours is not that long at all.
3) Boston is a big city. There are a lot of residences in a small area, and door to door knocking is time and labor intensive.
4) There are rumors he might be a meth head, so maybe youre right and the Boston PD should have called in the OKC PD for their expertise.
