Why are you missing the point so badly? I ...evolved...beyond jumble. I once jumbled, we all start off like that. I've been there, done that. I could do it again, so why don't I? Yep, it's beneath me now. I'm way above that, I need something beyond what some 13 year old could do. I want a destination, not just a bunch of stuff tossed together. Like I said I started out that way, so why did I change my listening habits? Could it be because that method is too simple? That needs me to do what, yep....nothing. I wanna be involved.

If that's the way you like to listen to music, that's great. No one has said otherwise. Whatever works for you works for you, regardless whether or not it works for me or anyone else.

But it's completely asinine to suggest that the way you listen to music is objectively better, deeper, more highly evolved than the ways in which other people listen to music. And it's factually inaccurate to call it broader, since eliminating music that doesn't adhere to a certain genre or time period is a process of narrowing.

I do listen to a wide range of music I just lump it all together as oppossed to jumble on a particular tape or CD. In a 24 hour period...

African Tribal
Gospel
Classical
Rap
Soul

...a very real possibility.

What I'm talking about is a CD/tape/record with a theme. Not me passing up on vareity.
