I thought he was referring to Green and Blair. Even then, he said they had skill, but they're playing as well as they are because of their hustle. That's true for all Spurs, especially Leonard, who's still at his best when he's a hustle player. I don't think he was saying Kawhi wouldn't be in the league.

Look up at my posts and Monroe's tweet earlier in this thread. It's exactly what he said: Bonner, Green and Leonard wouldn't be in the league if they weren't "energy players". But I lend some credence to the theory that he's confusing Leonard and Neal.

The problem with Howard is that he hasn't fully recovered from his back injury, in addition to playing in a system that doesn't suit him well..SVG built a system that fit him perfectly, tbh..

Oh, I guess I missed it. I thought he was referring to Kenny's half-time segment, where he did go out of his way to say Green and Blair had skill. He probably did that to backtrack from what he had said before. I imagine he would extend that same analysis to Leonard.

In that segment, he said that Green and Blair have effort as their best attribute, which I think is fair and extends to Leonard as well. If he meant that to mean they didn't have NBA-caliber skills, then I disagree, especially about Leonard.
