needs a lot of tweaking...won't work here
Works fine for everyone else.
not for me...it locks up and gives me a warning message about the flash stuff. when I click yes...it freezes up every time. If I say no, nothing.
Well if your computer can't handle Flash, then that's why.
It can handle flash not something of that size and such...it warns me it will slow the computer down to a halt and it does.
come on pooh you want them to change the chatroom cause your computer is ...
upgrade man, upgrade
Maybe the chatroom is a Spurs fan.

Lord I hope not. I'll give it one more shot.

I tried again...no dice.
Here is the message I get:
A script in this movie is causing Macromedia Flash Player 7 to run slowly. If it continues to run, your computer may become unresponsive. Do you want to abort the script?
If I hit yes, the browser begins to flicker and shows a bunch of small words and boxes. If I click on no, I get a black screen and a half image of Duncan, then it stops totally.
Like I explained to you, your computer doesn't have enough memory to handle it. There's nothing I can do about that.
theres no one there what a crappy chat
Crashed on me initially running from Opera. Trying from IE now and seems fine.
Everyone should run it IE. Despite the high percentage of people in this forum on other browsers, 98% of the internet world still uses Explorer. So most software is not perfected for anything else.
It was a complete memory pig in Firefox. Didn't try it in IE, but you're probably going to need more than 256mb to run chat, the Ticket's feed and Yahoo GameChannel like I was trying at work.
Pooh has like 25MB RAM. There's nothing I can do for him short of buying him a computer.
it worked fine w/ firefox. haven't tried it w/ IE
Hmm... I beg to differ. Of all end users, less than 90% use some variant of a MS OS. So that's at least 10% of Unix and Mac users that don't have IE. In addition, several MS users use some browser other than IE, such as Opera, Firefox, Mozilla, etc.
I am not complaining... if I cannot chat in here, though luck.
As you can see, I am not very fond of MS products
P.S.: I have 384MB on a dual boot window box at home and I still get the flash thingy consuming too many resources from time to time, even when using IE![]()
It worked fine on Mozilla (a Firefox cousin).
That's weird. I'll try to research why you get that, only a few people have that problem. We'll see what we can do.have 384MB on a dual boot window box at home and I still get the flash thingy consuming too many resources from time to time, even when using IE
I didn't notice any real drag on resources using Firefox.
