Kansas Gov. Insists it’s OK to Ignore Federal Gun Laws
As we detailed yesterday, dozens of states are considering bills that attempt to nullify federal gun laws. One such bill became a lawlast month in Kansas. It exempts “Made in Kansas” guns from federal regulation and makes it a crime for federal agents to enforce federal law.
Attorney General Eric Holder recently wroteto Kansas Gov. Sam Brownback, saying the law is “uncons utional,” and that the U.S. is prepared to sue Kansas to prevent the state from “interfering with the activities of federal officials.”
Now, Brownback has fired back.
In a letter to Holder yesterday, Brownback wrote: “The people of Kansas have clearly expressed their sovereign will. It is my hope that upon further review, you will see their right to do so.”
Local news reports have highlighted an estimate from Kansas’ attorney general that defending the new law in court could cost the state $225,000 over the next three years. Attorney General Derek Schmidt did not immediately return a request for comment.

If you say so. Seems to me the feds have a hard time enforcing laws based on interstate commerce if the commerce isn't across state lines.

His first claim I already destroyed. In his second claim those gun dealers only exist in Boutons fantasy world.
Obama forgot to mention himself for helping to arm the drug cartels with guns, ending in murder of innocent Mexican civilians, and shutting down any investigations over it (lol transparency). But then again, not surprised with him having innocent blood on his hands elsewhere. Kinda normal with him.

Didn't Obama's buddy Holder up the OKC bombing? I've always heard underground conspiracy theories that he basically gave the materials to McVeigh as part of a failed sting operation.

Eric Holder is maybe the worst among Obama's buddies in Washington. Idk anything about the McVeigh thing, but Holder deciding not to prosecute HSBC for laundering terrorist/drug money is as corrupt as anything Bush did for corporations.

Is that factually incorrect?
One of them I suppose but a close family friend sat on the trial that put away the leader of the northern cartels around 2000. I forget exactly when. That left the power vacuum between the western and eastern border cartels which directly precipitated the violence.
The root cause of the violence is American drug policy. Those who don't learn from history are doomed to repeat it. The descent of organized crime from its heyday in the early 20th century is proof enough of that.
It's also not hard to figure where the guns used in their power struggle are manufactured.
