Same person right?
Another great AirApparent take:
"No arguments from me here. Magic is easily one of the greatest winners ever along with MJ, Kobe, Kareem and Wilt."
Wilt? A great winner? Since when? Stat , definitely. But the guy couldn't even lead a stacked Kansas team to a National le around the same time Bill Russell was leading the irrelevant San Francisco University to back-to-back les.
LG posters![]()
Same person right?
You know youre right in that upstairs posters and LG posters arent that different. They both cry about LeBron being the NBAs posterboy and their stars being overlooked. The refs screwing their respective teams. Stern not liking their organization. Only difference is none of those things are even remotely true when it comes to the Lakers. Those guys are ing delusional.![]()
LOL Laker fans complaining about officiating when Bryant got two free throws against those same Warriors for snapping his own ing achilles.
Kill the wise one
Yeah, the same Lakers that barely snuck into the playoffs with Kobe wouldve decimated the Spurs. And I thought we had some stupid people on ST.![]()
I know I clown the guy for getting buttsexed and for the resulting HIV and then passing the gay gene onto his kid, but yeah, Magic was absolutely ridiculous to watch. I mean the league has never seen anyone who could make the passes Magic did. Watching him take a big hesitation step, wind his arm back, and fire a Nolan Ryan fastball right through a tiny gap in the defense to a cutting Worthy on the break is something I have never seen anyone else do, and he did it once or twice a game. I mean there is no one close to as devastating a passer as Magic; not James, not Ginobili, not Kidd, etc. Anyone who never got to watch Magic play (Bird too) seriously missed out and needs to buy some full-game DVDs or something. Magic is sadly going to end up seriously underrated as the years go by since he doesn't have the crazy dunks of guys like Jordan, James, Bryant, McGrady, etc (same for Bird IMO; people already starting to do revisionist history on his career).
Sister Golden Hair (LG Legend) has a point:
I spent 3.25 hours searching Google, Bing, and other search engines. I could not for the life of me find a picture like ^ of Kobe. A little help here?

They don't take pictures of you in the lottery tbh.
Nice one![]()
Lol, Lakers only relevant to occasionally be pointed at and laughed at at this point..Jacob1983 of NBA teams..
The Lakers tankedPERIOD. Did the 2004 Olympians tank too?
I agree with you that Kobe's a quitter, but just not in that case. LOL Prime Kobe leading his team to the biggest upset loss in playoff history and then the lottery.
You guys should check out the 'Simmons: LeBron is the best player in the last 20 years' thread tbh. I cant believe some of the Im reading.![]()
Link that son
Guy with the Michael Jackson white suit avatar is a complete re ..holy
Not surprised an LG Legend is a in' moron, per par. Duncan pretty much led the team in all categories (aside from the guard stats like assists and steals). If anyone is to blame for the '04 debacle, it's your boy A.I. and his 38% shooting and ball hogging.
I could also bring up how Kobe was carried in both '08 and '12. Lebron and Wade destroyed him statistically both years, and Kirby's much heralded 4th quarter against Spain is perhaps the most overrated performance I've ever seen. Not only did Wade and Chris Paul hit more shots down the stretch, but Kobe's vaunted "doberman" defense let Rudy in' Fernandez go off for 22 points.
AlsoFiba. Patty Mills was the leading scorer in London.
I'll always get a kick out of this vintage Olympic performance from Kirby:

30% against a bunch of midget spearchuckers from Angola![]()
remember this?
Yep. I also remember Rudy Fernandez dropping buckets on him.
I also remember Wade's 27 points on 9/12 shooting and him hitting the clutchest shot of the game after a Kobe brick and fast break 3 by Spain that cut lead to 4.
Kobe was just lucky he didn't have to face that '04 Manu and Argentina team, tbh, imho. Having prime Lebron, Wade, Melo, CP3, etc. as teammates helped too.
Kobe's 08 Olympics is overated as . Wade was by far the best player in the finals and in the tournament and Rudy f@ckin Fernandez had a better finals game than Kobe.
