1.contain curry and Thompson by making green , barnes, and jack beat you.
Not open looks for barnes or jack but contested jumpers when they iso Parker. Rotate off green and make him beat you with open threes.

    2. Drive more instead of settling for the three namely Leonard and Ginóbili.
Shoot If Its open but If Its close Drive and attack the RIM.

    3. Start strong.
Imo playing from behind might be adding pressure. Hit shots...

    1. Stay home on shooters.

    2. Play our game and not theirs. Start Tiago.

    3. Run something other than "Pass to Tim Stand Around then Kick It Out for a Danny Green Iso". Move the ball and drive to the ing rack.

    I'll settle for two.

    1. Maintain the defensive intensity they played in the second half of game 2. That was the best we've looked all series, and if the Spurs can play that well for an entire game they should win.

    2. Make more shots. Can't put it any other way. The Spurs shot too poorly to win in game 2. Their second half defense kept the score relatively close, but that was an abysmal offensive performance. Can't see them winning unless they shoot at least 45%, probably higher.

This..I might be wrong, but IMO every year I see spurs playing a different kind of game in the playoffs compared to how they play during the regular season and they appear to be very uncomfortable doing that.

I like the "play our game" philosophy, but...

    1. Diaw has to be a bigger part of our game!

    2. We hopefully should be able to haver better shooting this time.

    3. Will Timmy be at 100%?

Make your free throws. This is about the one edge we have over them.

Keep the rebounding even at least like we have been.

Make sure thompson doesnt have a career night.

    1. Stop leaving their shooters open.
    2. Start the game in desperation mode.

    1. Tony Parker needs to penetrate. Gets defenders into foul trouble and puts GS defense into disarray, which leads to open shots.
    2. Hit open shots.
    3. Rebounding. Coming up with a strategy for defending Curry and Thompson is not nearly as important as reducing the number of easy second-chance points for GS. That's just embarrassing.

1 - Dont let them beat us at everything aka, dont let the hot shooting make us panic. Not only was their shooting hot but they out rebounded us too. If their shooters get hot, let that be the only thing they get good at. Win the rebounds and no easy points aka, own the paint.

2 - Stay aggressive at all times, the fact that we came back and nearly came back again suggests that we have the capability to be in the game. I think GS took us so much by surprise that we let our guard down. In game 1 we were surprised as was everybody but in game 2 we were surprised again because we thought that the game 1's loss would demoralize them. This time they have our full attention

3 - Rush the ball up the court so we have as much time on the clock as possible and be patient. Dont start chucking threes, drive the ball and get to the free throw line.

    1. Elian and/or Klay need to come back to earth
    2. Spurs have to play for 48 minutes how they played game 2 2nd half
    3. Warriors need to be overconfident and choke this game away

Put the ball in the hole more often than they do, enhance physicality and pass the ball around more.

    1. Abandon help defense, stay at home on shooters. And that doesn't mean run as fast as you can at the 3 point line and let their shooters drive, it means nobody gets left open. If Curry and Thompson want their 30 points, they should earn them with a hand in their face the entire way.

    2. Run set offense. Drive and challenge Bogut down low, open the floor for Green and Ginobili to hit from outside. Their shooting percentages seem to go up when their shots come from classic Spurs offense instead of iso ball.

    3. Do not give in to GS tempo. By all means run in transition, but the Warriors' legs will outlast the Spurs' by miles and miles. The Warriors will undoubtedly make at least a couple of runs that will have Oracle rocking. Don't let them run away with it.

    spurs have to:
    1) make their shots
    2) force the dubs to adjust to them instead of the other way around
    3) force the action inside and get the dubs in foul trouble

Way to go, Pop. Not sure why Neal got minutes in the second half, but I can forgive him because Neal has the capability to put that game away in only a couple of minutes if he's on.
