I thought Manu had more contact than Boner. Still, it did get him out of the game.
It was pretty obvious. Bonner seems to forget that he needs to put his hands above his head when defending. He's failed to even change the shots near the basket, and the push was just lazy and stupid.

Just cleanup the boards and we're good. I'm not a Bonner hater but he has no place in this series especially if he's not hitting his shots.

Great first half. Diaw has been very solid. Thompson has cooled off...so far.

The Spurs are still shooting like , but because they're doing other things well and creating space for Parker, they're in the lead. The Spurs could still lose a game due to hot shooting from here on out, but if they keep this up and bench the out of that useless piece of Bonner, they should win this series and get back on track.

    1st Half Thoughts:

    - Parker is playing amazingly. That being said, I'm not sure he can keep it up the whole game. Hopefully the team gets more contributions from other players offensively.
    - Green is playing outstanding defense on Curry.
    - It will be interesting to see if Steph has a hot 3rd quarter again. Hopefully the Spurs are ready for that.
    - Manu is really bad. Really bad. He's clearly hurting the team while he's on the floor.
    - Pop, stop playing Bonner. This isn't a D-League Laker team where you can afford to put him out there. Stick to Duncan/Splitter/Diaw.
    - Hopefully that wasn't a fluke half. It's still a winnable game for the Warriors and they are feeling very confident right now.
    He cant

Spurs gotta play that D in the 3rd quarter, one quarter at a time...

Pretty sure Coach Pop is about to trade Manu in this half!
We'll see if Manu gets an earful from Pop at the half.

Ouch, that was below the belt.

Parker is playing at his MVP level tonight.. Need everyone to step up to help him get the job done tonight in the 2nd half.. Need manu to at least create if he's not going to score and no more bonner, please no more bonner tonight, we're having success on the interior.

Offensive rebounds have kept Golden State in this game. Crash the boards and we win

Looks like we found a major mismatch with Boris, reminds me of when he used to kill us in the post.

This almost reminded me of our first half in Game 6 against OKC in the WCF. The 3rd Quarter is also Curry's favorite quarter. It's gonna be a wild, stressful ride...

at this point I would give all of Manu's minutes to TMac and see what he can do.

Agreed. Curry and Thompson had a terrible half, yet we are only up 9. They can easily hit some one-footed 3 pointers to start the 3rd.

If I was Pop right now, I would emphatazing on not letting Curry work his third quarter magic, tbh.

Id still like to see Parker get deeper penetration to open up teammates
and of course put Splitter out there since he actually rolls to the basket which forces the defense to commit
Duncan has been sitting out on the perimeter too much this series
