Yep. I own it. Bruno Ganz is a living legend. I'm a GINORMOUS WWII geek and have countless of movies and do entaries on it. I would rank Downfall up there with Saving Private Ryan and Schindler's List as far as WWII masterpieces go. I also love The Reader; it stars both Bruno Ganz and Kate Winslet.

Agree. The Reader is great. Watching Kate Winslet nude yet again was a plus. I got Saving Private Ryan, The Pianist, Schindler's List, Downfall, and Escape from Sobibor as my favorite WW2 films. I would put Band of Brothers at the top if it was a movie and not a television series.
