Should be led "Bad Boys For Life"

Should be interesting, tbh...It looks like the Bad Boys will be the subject of an ESPN retrospective.
ESPN spokesperson Jennifer J. Cingari confirmed that a 30 for 30 do entary on the notorious Pistons squads that won two world les and battled for Eastern Conference supremacy in the late 1980s and early 90s is in the works.
A 30 for 30 on the Bad Boys is in the works, but we don't have an air date or a film summary yet, she said in an e-mail to the Free Press today.
The news should be exciting to Pistons fans, who have been clamoring for a do entary on that era of Pistons basketball since ESPN started airing the do entaries in October 2009.
The award-winning series has featured looks at the career of two-sport athlete Bo Jackson, basketball Hall of Famer Michael Jordans brief flirtation with minor-league baseball and other notable sports stories since ESPN was formed in 1979, hence the 30 for 30 le.
The Pistons have been approached by producers, but the project is still in the planning stages.
Great. More reason for reddit using s to slobber bill simmons knob ssome more
Hated those suckers but have to respect their game ...
Rodman in those days was the most versatile defender I had ever seen ... sneaky strong (he was slimmer then) but pretty damn quick feet.
Dumars though a bit overrrated defensively was sooo fundamentally sound. Hardly changed his expression. And though a prick Isiah is criminally underrated and imho s on John Stockton and is probably 2nd best PG I have seen after Magic ...
Mad respect for GP, Kidd Healty CP3 and Dwill ... but Isiah would eat them all alive ...
So they're gonna show how they dominated through their fluke championship in '89. Scott and Magic were injured. LA should've three-peated.
The 30 for 30 is the only good that ESPN's spewed out since NHL on ESPN
Gotta agree completely with this. On another note Laimbeer was such a unique player. Think 7' hardass version of Divac but with better flop skills. God I hated him even though the Spurs never played a meaningful game against them. It's kind of sad the way history has forgotten about those Piston teams. They completely revolutionized basketball by showing you could win and win big by giving great defensive effort. I mean it felt like the entire 90s were Pistons basketball when you had Chicago, New York, Houston, and San Antonio win les or get extremely close by playing with that Pistons mindset. I really miss the style of ball they brought to the league now that it's so focused on scoring and protecting perimeter guys. It was an awesome era they brought to the sport.
Agree on Bill. Better range than Divac not as good a passer but a better rebounder. And what a prick ...
He got Parish so mad Parish beat him down ... onr of the best beatdowns I ever saw happen live ...
I think MJ wanted to bust his ass too ...
Injuries are a part of the game, son.
I was a bandwagon Pistons fan back when I only casually followed the NBA. My favorite player before Robinson came into the league was Isiah Thomas. Guy was amazing. Everyone was so far up Magic, Bird, and Jordan's ass at the time, it was fun seeing a bunch of guys who could give them . So many characters on that team too. The Worm, the spider, the microwave, Laimbeer, Rick Mahorn. Dumars was probably the only real Jordan stopper there ever was. The fact that everyone hated them made me like them more because most people were Lakers, Celtics, or Bulls bandwagoners.
I think the Pistons would still have beaten a healthy Lakers squad that year. They almost did the year before with Isiah on one leg. They were much better than in 1988, had homecourt in the series, and were bloodthirsty for revenge.
Probably but worthy was in his prime ...add Magic and scott we had a shot ... but ...
Injuries are part of the game and Riley ran us in to the ground ... happens. Pistons were worthy champions ...
Same can be said for L.A's fluke le in 1988
