Basically he'd be like Robert Horry but with horrible defense. They would need at least 2 Horry game 5 level games to beat Miami and even Horry only had one of those games in his career.
I know this is a ridiculous hypothetical might as well ask what the first man to walk on the Sun will wear while doing so or what would happen if Kobe got a sixth ring at this point but watching this game I can't help but wonder..

bonner has always been one of the best shooting bigs in the league imho. his defense is a glaring weakness but the memphis fatasses both had a ty game today and failed to exploit it. trade him to _'antoni's team and he'll flourish
As Pop would say, we're pretty good when we shoot like that. We've had one, which felt great today, but we'll need two more to beat Memphis.
But to beat Miami, we'll need to do it four times.
I gotta little woozy when Bonner hit all those threes..like dizzy, light headed..only half kidding it was surreal like is it really a meaningful playoff game I'm seeing right here? World turned upside down..even if he nails a bunch next game you just know he'll the bed something fierce in Memphis..

Bonner hits 3s when he's wide open. Memphis was horrible guarding the 3pt line today, so Bonner nailed some shots. Bonner struggles when defenses rotate and put a hand in his face. Which is why in the playoffs, with more physicality, better teams, and tighter defenses, his shot becomes less effective.
Bonner's gotten a lot good looks in the playoffs over the course of his career he just misses so much because he's a ing choker.
I disagree. He's one of the best shooters around when he has space. In the regular season, you get space. In the playoffs, your shot gets rushed.
Bonner has no place in an hypothetical final matchup against Miami if Spo does the smart thing and plays small-ball with Lebron at the 4 and Bosh at the 5. There would be no place to hide him, tbh. Maybe on Battier but not much more.
Battier and Haslem only two he could maybe guard.
I didn't count Haslem 'cause like I said I was thinking about a hypotetical scenario where Miami plays small, if the Heat remain playing with two bigs then yes, Bonner could be very useful against Miami.
this guy hesitates alot when his free with a defender closing him down, i would have him chuck a shot then see super gary go hero mode for no reason
