Truly an honor to have witnessed that achievement in person
@nbastats: Last night, Duncan became 1st @NBA player w/ 500 career blocks in the Playoffs. 1.TD(500) 2.Kareem(476) 3.Hakeem(472) 4 Shaq (459)![]()

He became the all-time postseason blocks leader in last years playoffs actually. Last night he just became the first with 500. Regardless, a remarkable feat by the GOAT![]()
Spurs weren't the same with him on the bench. If he'd not gotten whistled for 3 fouls in 30 seconds, that Grizzly comback would never have happened.
That record will be there for a long time..
the active NBA players with most blocks -
Howard with 166 post season blocks
Ibaka 156 post season blocks
But they need to reach the NBA playoffs or finals each season to accomplish that faster & before they retire![]()
It's a great accomplishment but . . .
I don't think they kept that block stat when Bill Russell patrolled the paint.
Ibaka has a shot, especially if Durant/Westbrook stay healthy. I see a lot of long post-season runs for that team in the near future
You must be fun at parties
Timmy's continued dominance must be pissing off the many haters.
Now if only he can break the playoff double double record! Don't think it will happen after not getting double doubles in game 2, but the next one is big cause then he'll pass Wilt!
Debbie Downer has to be my favorite, ha.
Love ya Russ but that was funny.
