Warner Bros Pictures‘ Superman reboot Man Of Steel doesn’t open nationwide until June 14 and in more limited release a day earlier for late shows. But as of 10 AM today, the Chris Nolan-mentored, Zack Snyder-directed, Henry Cavill-starring tentpole became the top ticket-seller on Fandango. It’s already outselling this weekend’s new releases, Twentieth Century Fox’s The Internship and Universal’s The Purge. And, in terms of advance ticket sales, Man Of Steel is outpacing the previous Summer 2013 movies at the same point in the sales cycle. Hollywood for months now has been buzzing that the movie studio’s big gamblewill be one of this summer’s biggest grossing mega-hits. Now, finally, here’s some early proof.

too good to be true tbh. Seriously, I doubt it. The Dark Knight trilogy were far and away the best comic book movies and combining that universe with Superman, the biggest and most well known, and Wonder Woman, who doesn't and probably never will have good movies to go with her, no way.

oh, and using anyone besides Christian Bale as Batman from here on will be seen as a joke

inb4 DURRRRR but Joker and Bane made that trilogy!!!!!!!!!! No, they just made it beyond awesome, but this wouldn't be like changing the Hulk for The Avengers

So many trailers out. I bet they add up to like 15 or so minutes of the actual movie. Spoiling the movie imo.

By the time you are watching the movie if you had seen all the trailers you'll have a familiar sensation, therefore killing the anticipation of the whole movie.

This movie is currently at 72% in Rotten tomatoes, now I don't usually use that meter to decide what I want to watch or what I don't, I just felt like it was pretty interesting to point out, maybe this movie will not be the best thing since slice bread.

This is one of those situations where unlike Batman, there are Superman purists who will hate it before ever watching a second. Personally, I'm ing pumped.
