NBA: The spurs ball movement with Parker penetrating reminded me of the 2011 mavs

I rooted for the Heatles over the Mavs in 2011 tbh. I did back them in the semis vs the Lakers though.

I understand Bosh being an annoying and Wade being a princess but the King is great imo. Dude plays basketball the right way and is such a physical specimen, cant really hate him tbh.

I was curious if the resident Mav fans on this board would root for the Spurs. Figured they'd hate this series.

I wouldn't call it weird... Most Mavs fans absolutely despite the Heat because of 2006. You might add the pure gotry of Wade (e.g. how many dirty plays this asshole made in the last seasons), the "decision" to go hunting for rings the more easy way etc. That makes it rather easy to root for the Spurs. Despite all the rivalry I don't have a problem to give credit when credit is due. If the Spurs win I will give them props. Though I've never been a Spurs fan and never will be and if Indiana would have played the Spurs I would very likely root against SA. But yeah, f*ck the cHeat. Pls end the era of "superfriends".
