yes you are wrong, you were wrong and you will be wrong - like the other re ed kids who keep creating threads about this guy or that guy sucks.
I've never been a Gary Neal fan, but I'm glad he made everyone Neal With It tonight!

Please ing apologize - you know who you are
I am guilty of not wanting him on the floor in this series...foot in mouth.
Neal with it.
neal made himself some money with this performance on his next contract
i'm not apologizing, he played like in game 2, he rebounded and i'm happy he did. he was on fire tonight. now if he would stop leaving ray allen and mike miller open, i'd be 100% happy with him
Neal has the balls that left when SJax got cut.
Neal is a baller, for better or for worse.
I thought Neal would come up with something this season. I agreed with him being out of the rotation, but I'm glad Pop kept giving him chances for a few minutes a game. All 15 guys on the team can smell it now. I'm glad they're all stepping up.
Gave me flashbacks to Jason Terry in the 2011 Finals![]()
he must be reading SpursTalk
at least with DG we cann expect consistency(not 27 points every night, but consistency)
That was a heck of a clinic though
Props for the game of his life but I hope he's at least decent from here on out and not be a one game wonder.
So isn't he a free agent this summer? I say we lock him up fast. He could be a big part of this team's future if he's developing into a truly clutch player on the biggest stage in basketball. With some solid defensive development, he has a lot of room to grow into a better player.
Eating a big portion of crow tonight
I'm so mad at myself. After ALL season of sub-par play, I was still on Neal's wagon with the whole "he hits big shots" mantra. After game 2 I was fed up and FINALLY threw in the towel. I gave up on Neal. and of frickin course, the very next game he goes off![]()
If Gary Neal simply plays within the offense and shoots when open then he's a really good backup guard. The problems happen when he tries to drive or shoot off the dribble. Or when he decides to jack up 3s from 28 ft and a person in his face. All I want is for Gary Neal to play within himself. He wasn't TOO exposed on D tonight but a few of the Miller 3s were because he didn't rotate.
Hadn't quiet lost faith in Neal. He's our only shot at instant offense off the bench.
I'm not a fan of Neal at all, I always criticize him, tbh, but he wouldn't be as effective if he played within the offense..
Guys like Neal are capable of exploding because they play their own individual game..they don't really understand the concept of playing within the offense on a consistent basis, but you live with their playing style because they're talented enough as scorers to potentially explode..
I don't think Neal could have the same type of explosive scoring games if he was a guy that just played within the team offense IMO..
You live and die with those guys, tbh..Neal has been horrible all year, but luckily he finally contributed at the right time..hopefully he doesn't revert to missing shots and playing horrible defense the rest of the series..
Gary Neal hit.... not 1, not 2, not 3, not 4.... but 6 threes!
Gary Neal just shot his way to an over-priced contract to a new team next year. Time to search the gutters of the NBA waiver wire for the next guy to plug into the system.
But the explosion tonight came from within the offense. Sure, he hit a few bull pull up 3s late in the 4th but the game was over by then. Most of his 3s came off of passes when he was open.
I get what you're saying and I agree to an extent. I actually really love those guys that will miss 40 shots and still think they're going to make #41 (matt bonner could use a load of that mentality) because the confidence is what lets you succeed on the big stage. I don't hate Gary Neal but I do hate his D. I generally think he's an effective player but just like he practically won the game tonight he can also do a lot to lose you a game. Knowing when to ride him is actually something Pop probably needs to get a big better at.
Seems as of late, whenever the Spurs fan give Neal crap, that's when he plays his best and proves us all wrong. Maybe we shouldn't be complimenting him so much. Hey Neal, YOU SUCK!!!
As long as he wins the Spurs the chip, I don't think anyone with half a brain will give a .
No need to apologize. Neal is a bench player for a reason. He is no Ray Allen, he had a great game but I wouldn't be surprised if he went 0-7 in game 4. If he were consistent he wouldn't be playing for the Spurs and would be making huge dollars as a starter somewhere. He is also a terrible defensive player and hurts his team more often than not.
