You have a point, I was never a Zack Snyder fan really, but this being his best (as it was very good) is a good sign moving forward for the sequel.

Wow, awesome job. I was the complete opposite and I wish I could have held out like you. I let a few stupid reviews get to me the last few days, until I finally watched it all.
Yea those were some good ones there, and there was a Wayne Enterprises logo on the satellite in space during the Supes/Zod fight too. But that still isn' the one I'm referring to. Damn it gave me chillsI can't believe people couldn't see it, it was right in plain view. My sis was like "what, I didn't notice"

nice, didn't see the Wayne enterprises.
where was the one your referring to during the movie? Early, mid, late? Was it a person or object? I'm going through my mental rolodex.

Act 3, it's the climactic sequence when Cavill looks up and light shines on his face right before he takes off to destroy/enter the ship, you could almost see the face of Christopher Reeve, his face very very very lightly morphed into it and back. I caught it with ease, but some didn't notice
That got to me man. lol![]()
oh wow, hmm, didnt see that.

i like the fact that he's kinda uncomfortable as superman right nowm kind like hes still trying to figure it out too. thats why there are no great speeches yet. also when hes talking to the colonel at the end after destroying the drone, hes kinda like, "hey dont spy on me, im still trying to figure out how all this is gonna work between us." I loved the "im from kansas" line in that scene.

I agree, which is why I shouldn't have spoken too soon on my initial review. I like the way they did this, he is still learning who he is, and that means he still has room to grow on his strength and in story too, wow. I loved how he acted like a kid when first flying. It's how we all might act if it were our first time. That Kansas line at the end was good
The ending couldn't have been better imo. Love how they ended it, shows you what to look forward to. Damn I wanna see it again already.
It was great...almost exactly what I expected. As one reviewer said, it's Superman for the this new generation of hero movies. Some didn't like the way they did the flashbacks in the beginning and that's fine. Didn't really bother me. All the acting was solid and Shannon as Zod wasn't spectacular but he was more than acceptable. Cavill however, was outstanding...a perfect fit for the role.
I'm going again tonight!![]()
Jesus I didn't even hate on the film and the resident fanboygets all upset. It wasn't terrible but it definitely has huge flaws. Snyder could have given you a steaming pile of crap and you would have liked it so I'm not sure why you're trying to slam my credibility on the subject. Its just my opinion of a movie. No one ever said you had to agree with it.
I have never been a Snyder fan until this movie. I just disagree with you. You liked Returns, and there is no way that this movie isn't way better than that crap film. No way.![]()
Superman is as American as apple pie. As long as it's not a steaming pile of of a film, it'll do well here.
Yeah - I liked it when I saw it when I was 21. Over 10 years ago. I did say I hadn't seen in it in a long time. I liked a lot of bad movies when I was younger. I did say I liked this movie. Did you not read that?
How did you watch Superman Returns over 10 years ago? It came out in 2006.
You've been jocking Snyder without being a "fan" for some time. I'm surprised no one here is up in arms about them changing the fundamental nature of Superman to make it "darker"
Returns is not crap.
I've been jocking Man of Steel, produced by Chris Nolan and written by David Goyer. Big difference tbh. I like the change.
It's no MoS, that's for sure.
I'm a Superman guy so I'll like this one just as much as I liked Returns and the rest of Superman Films.
People will always have something negative to say about these films no matter so you might just as well enjoy these films shamelessly like I do.![]()
I saw it around noon today, and thought it was really good - much improvement from Returns.
Very solid movie. Returns was one of the worst movies of all time btw...
New Hobbit trailer![]()
Whatever credibility you had sure went up in flames.![]()
Returns was awful. Don't care what anyone says. Made me hate Superman.
The trailer for hobbit was visually stunning.
100% of all movie trailers look awesome.
How you liked the first one?
Not true at all. Several trailers scream terrible movie.
