Baseball is to North Americans what Soccer is to Europeans, tbh.

NBA le. I haven't followed baseball for years. The Braves drove me right out of the sport with their constant postseason failures. Over a dozen straight division les, and only 1 ring...
Let's start smaller. Would you rather your team won a world series game or an NBA relocation vote?
Jewfrey Loria is such a piece of ...Hitler missed a family
Man, without the Lakers, you'd really be a starcrossed, tortured fan.
The only thing worse than losing a le is breaking up the team that won it the very next year. And the Marlins' owner did that twice. Doing that, you forever torture the fanbase with "what if?" And I'm sure every Miggy homer must feel like a hot shiv inserted into your spine.
JESUS CHRIST THE HORROR!!!
If the question is my city then it's easily the World Series. Not a fan of the Knicks or the Nets tbh. I would be ecstatic to witness a Mets World Series victory. Then again, if the question is in general, then I take a Mavericks Championship or a Mets World Series anyday. A Cowboys Superbowl win would be my number 1 ecstasy tho.
I want to see the Cubs beat the Yankees in the World Series in a 4 game sweep with games 3 and 4 at Wrigley Field. That would be awesome. Chicago would be shut down for at least 2 weeks.
too bad, tbh. Cubs vs Yanks would've been crazy.
Just imagine how chaotic Chicago would be the second the Cubs won the World Series. No work would be done for at least a week. Just think of the number of people that would call in sick the next day at their jobs. Just think of how packed the bars would be in Chicago. Crazy.
I'd be pretty pumped if the Missions won the World Series. I think I'd even sacrifice an NBA le for it.
well, since the Giants have won two of the last three WS, I'm far more hungry for one last O'brien trophy for the Spurs.
My preference for les goes like this
1.Auburn football
2.Arsenal (EPL/CL)
3.49ers
4.Spurs
5.Giants
Uncanny how these runs kind of resemble each other. The 49ers pursuing a 6th ring after a drought, going up against the NFL's darling (Ray Lewis is something of an analogue to Lebron here), lose in heartbreaking fashion after that furious comeback. Wasn't Scott Norwood bad, 18-1 bad, or even game 6 bad, but the 9ers were 5 yards and a catch away from sending Ray Lewis out a loser.
Unfortunately for them, those 5 yards needed to be accrued through the air, where a certain breed of QB would've come in handy
i'd rather the Dodgers win a le than the Clippers or Lakers.
At least I've got my precious Galaxy championships to hold me over til then![]()
1. Bills
2. Hurricanes (football)
3. Lakers
4. Marlins
5. Panthers
Baseball is such a mental sport and harder to win at but easier to suck at. BUT, since the new owner of the Astros is such a piece of , I couldn't care less about them. NBA le it is.
World Series, tbh..
