    imo. Narrowly edges Michael Jordan 98. Tim was dominant from the season opener against OKC to the last game of the Finals.

    Agreed. Didn't think I'd ever get to see Tim Duncan consistently perform at that level again.

    This season was a real treat. At various points, Duncan was a leading candidate for defensive player of the year. A solid argument could be made that he should have won the award over Gasol.

    Duncan is an all time great. This season solidified that fact beyond a doubt.
