Tbh, he's been improving a lot every year even though the raw numbers don't show it (mostly due to him playing less minutes in the regular season), he's just largely been let down by an inept coach who couldn't develop players, was obsessed with guards to the detriment of the bigs, and wouldn't draw up plays for him in the second half of games.... it all comes down to coaching, and regardless of whether it's Doc or Shaw or Hollins, a real coach will get the best out of him, imho....
If Stern takes the stick out of his ass and lets the Clipps/Celts trade go through, I actually think the WCF would be a Spurs vs. Clippers rematch, tbh.... I just don't see the Spurs fading away that easily, they'll be right back in the mix next year.... I also think RefKC will be the disappointment of the year next season....
