It's hilarious that the media even considers Parker/Ginobili second option calibre players. These two were always third option talent that benefited greatly from playing in the Spurs system.

I think it's mostly his offensive limitations. People want guards who can shoot. His at ude is better than a lot of guys, he's driven and a hard worker even if a bit of a headcase.

Livio Jean-Charles was the breakout star at the Nike Hoop Summit. Jean-Charles exploded with 27 points, 13 rebounds, two steals and two blocks. He clearly was the MVP of the World Team, doing the little things that impresses scouts all week. He's long, athletic, has a nose for the ball and can score both inside and on the midrange jumper. Spurs think he'll spend another year in France before he comes to the NBA. A nice pick here.
