I would love to see him on the Spurs if Tiago doesn't return.
He's looking for a multiyear deal around 3-4 years and he's already 32. Not sure how much the spurs should offer but I think it would be a good pick up if we could get for say 5-6 mil per

Mavs & Celtics have discussed Rondo. Anyone know what Mavs got in way of picks coming up?

Spurs are going to bring everyone back including Splitter. The only one that might not be back is Neal and they will probably sign someone from the summer league to replace Blair. The big FA signing your looking for is going to be a player from the summer league or a mediocre FA to replace Neal if he leaves. Pop already said the Spurs are not going to make any major changes.

This is the first time in a min. Spurs will have cap room with Duncan and parker signed but that room will probably just go to splitter and manu .

Are you saying all this because you've lost faith in the FO signing free agents or do you actually endorse this mentality? If you're scenario plays out, then the Spurs will not get out of the western conference next year. Mark my words. I feel sorry for Tim Duncan.

I don't think Howard will sign with Dallas with no star PG beside him..Rondo will be a Celtic. And Chris Paul already send messages he will remain with the Clippers.

Chris Paul’s representatives have told teams not to even bother pursuing the point guard when free agency begins at 12:01 a.m. ET Monday because he will re-sign with the Los Angeles Clippers, according to league sources.

ESPN reporting Chris Paul's reps are telling teams not to bother making a pitch...Paul expected to re-sign with Clips.

Obviously that's not a shocker, but it does impact the Dwight sweepstakes because one of the possible scenarios was a Paul-Howard tandem in ATL. Howard may still be a possibility there, but it seems less likely.

^ no way Dwight goes to ATL. It's either LA, Houston, or Dallas imo, and I'd say HOU are the favorites right now.

The New Orleans Pelicans will likely pursue restricted free agent Chris Copeland, league source confirms. The Pelicans like the 29-year-old.

Not surprised on D West, he seemed to find a home & had a great series against Miami. Not too sure if any of it had to do with it because he was in a contract year, but I guess we will see this year he has always seemed like a compe or. He was the really the only serviceable big man I was really interested in this year big man free agent pool as they're not a lot of guys that catch my eye. If the Spurs plan on sucking a year or two when Duncan & Pop are gone in a few years, I don't see how big Al fits into this if we are trying to rebuild unless he gets a 2-3 year deal around $8 million a year, but I think someone will pay $10+ & throw in a extra year which he ain't worth it at this point of Manu & Duncan's career. Even if he played like crap against the Heat I don't see any reason why we shouldn't bring Tiago back as I thought he played really well against the Gasol brothers & Randolph. I believe 3 years $21 million would be a fair contract so if Duncan decides to play out his contract and retire at the end of the 2015 season, Tiago could be a nice expiring contract.
